I have a 01 Buick and the ac temp that comes out of the vents is around 50 deg - at idle and around 45 deg at highway speed - Is this normal a normal temp? or should the ac temps be colder?

The best way to do this is to cut the plastic on the cable housing and then you can pull it with a pair of pliers. If its just the handle broken off the cable inside the car you can pull it there without any problems otherwise you are going to have to find a place to cut it you can reach without to much problem.

To release that go under your car in the front and reach up and locate the cable if there is one and follow it to the end there is a lever that you need to pull toward the drivers door if there is no cable then find that same lever by touch in the middle of your hood you will know what it feels like byits design it should feel like a small extended metal lever

unplug the electrical from the antenna. replace antenna.

As of right now they only way is to get the part from the dealer and it's around $390 because it is only sold with the window motor. I have run into this problem with my brothers 87 Vett.

You need to replace the heater coil !

The heater core is located under the dash, in the center above the "hump". The container holding the core looks like a black plastic box. Remove the ash tray for easier access. You may have to also remove some other covers under the dash. First drain the radiator. Then you have to disconnect the hoses. There are two hoses connected to nipples of the heater core that are thru the center of the firewall. This has to be done from underneath the car while raised. I also had to unbolt a frame support to get to the hose clamps (I have big hands; you may be able to reach them without unbolting it). Remove the screws that hold on the cover to the heater core. You should be able to get the old one out now. Just go in reverse order to put it back together.

The turn signals use a different flasher. The flasher should be in the fuse block or right next to it. The flasher is round, a little bigger than a quarter and 1 1/4 inch tall. Just plugs in.

There is a tensioner pulley just to the left of the alternator and a little below it.it has a bolt in the middle that if you put a large socket on it and crank it counterclockwise until it lifts upward and relieves tension on the belt you then (while you are still cranking on tension pulley ) just slide the belt off of the alternatoer and other pulleys . ..

On a 01 model, you should have a trunk release button in the trunk, or on the drivers door. If that doesnt work, you can see about lowering the rear seats down, and getting into the trunk that way. There should be a little pull strap near the trunk lock that will open the trunk. There is a trunk release button - when you open the glovebox, it is to the left of the opening so that it cannot be seen unless glovebox is open.

02-07 will all interchange and fit but i think 04-07 has clear turnsignals and chrome trim and the older has amber lenses and body colored trim to look good youll have to replace both sided

Get a professional locksmith or a cheap crowbar.

Take off the plastic holders for the net at the back of the trunk. This will allow the plastic trim to move away from back of trunk then with a wrench or socket remove nuts that are on the threaded bolts that the plastic net holders were on. This will allow the whole assembly to be removed from the back (exterior) of the car. Now just remove connector half turn bulb remove old bulb replace new bulg and reverse to assemble.

There is a tool that came with the car. It is T shaped and it has an eliptical end. Pop the center of the hub off and the insert the eliptical end and twist. This will let the hub free.

The computer has detected a malfunction in the stability system. You will need to have the system checked for trouble codes. You can then diagnose for the possible cause.

The flywheel has to be held in place by a holding tool, Remove the mounting bolt, then use a balancer remover to pull the harmonic balancer.

Check the flasher as it may be malfunctioning also check for another burnt out bulb or loose connection or your bulb holder might be dirty and not making a good connection.

there is a evap tank solenoid mounted on top of fuel tank. at certain times the ecm pressure tests the fuel tank and hoses to make sure you are not losing fuel vapors to atmosphere if you fill your car with fuel with engine running it can set this code. also

I just did a 97", there should be some butterfly style fasteners holding the entire tailight assembly in place. Look inside the trunk beneath the latch and you should see them against the inside rear panel. They're usually difficult to turn at first, but once their loosened it should be easy. The light assembly is all one piece and will try to fall out, be careful not to rip any wires. Keep in mind the threads are the typical type. Lefty loosey, Righty tighty. Don't put a buick engine in a camaro. Instead, get a 350 LT1 (GM - corvette engine) for about 200 bucks used or 800 new. Sell the lesabre for this engine if you need to.
