How can you fix your gauges on a 2003 buick rendezvous?

If the motors for the dials are out, the best bet is to take this in to a firm that rebuilds speedometers. If it's the lights, you'll have to decide if you want to go through the hassle of pulling the needles off the cluster to access them and they're soldered in. I did with my '04 Vous and I got 12 12V lights from radio shack for $20 and did it in an afternoon.

The dealer says you have a cracked head or block antifreeze is leaking from behind the water pump any help?

If it's a cracked head, the engine will need a new head. If it's a cracked block, you'll need a new engine. But it would be a good idea to take it to a reputable mechanic for a second opinion. Don't tell them what you think is wrong, just ask why it's leaking. Remember that when a dealership mechanic gets to have a good reputation, he'll often start his own shop. The best ones leave the dealership. The dealership is not necessarily the best place to take your vehicle.

How do you remove the passenger side door speaker Panel on your Buick Rendezvous?

I think all you have to do is either look for a screw on the door any where but I think its on the bottem and unscrew it or it may pull off Im not sure excatly. If there are no screws on the door pannel try to pull it off but You have to have a certain tool to pull it off as I recall

There are a few screws, one is behind the red reflector on the door, then one where the door pull is, then the screw by the door handle, and i think that's it. then you carefully pull the door panel away from the door and then up to unhook it from the window channel and also pull the tweeter housing away as well. they use those lil metal clips that don't like to pull out easy and you can mess up the door panel if you arent careful.

Remove the 4 hub/bearing studs found on the inside of the sterring nuckle. Loosen the clamps holding the anti-lock cable.

Tap on the axle to release the splines from the axle to the hub.

Carefully remove the rotor from the axle and steering nuckle taking care not to stress the antilock cable.

. Just to add to the removal of the rotor and bearing assy. Snap-on makes a socket like tool that goes between 1 of the 4 inner hub/bearing bolts and uses the power steering of the truck to loosen the hub assy. Cost around $30 bucks, but well worth it if your hub assy is seized or stubborn.

Each row has 15 seats, so that total is 600. If every row after the first has 6 more seats than the one before it, you can then add (1+2+3+4+....+39) and multiple by 6. Add this to 600 and that will be the total.

If all the other windows operate it's not a fuse. Try taking the door panel off and tap the window motor with a small hammer. If the motor starts working it's the motor. If the motor still doesn't work it's probably a bum switch.

How do you test for water in your fuel tank?

I don't test for water in my fuel tank. I put in a bottle of dry gas and it's good to go. If you think someone may have purposely dumped water down your fill neck, you're going to have to syphon it back out and refill with fresh fuel. Don't forget to add some dry gas.

There is a tsb on the stabilizer bar links. Actually there are 2 the first one is if there is play in the link, try tightening it and the second is replace them if I remember right. Although not as profitable as a rack, it should be checked first before replacing that rack.

AnswerI've had a similar problem which led to the half shaft being bad. If it's rear-wheel drive then exclude my comment AnswerI'm not familiar with your vehicle however i have fixed a similar problem in several cars ive owned if your wheel moves or pops a little then you hear the click or thump then look for where the steering column comes out of the firewall and connects to the shaft coming from the steering box there may be a joint htere that has a rubber type material that joins the two together this joint allows the column to be at a different angle than the lower shaft if the "rubber circle is worn out you will need to replace it. this will cause your steering wheel to move iwerd then you get the thump or it has a little slop in it and it thumps. there are two pins going from the upper shaft and two pins coming from the lower and the rubber circle joins them together it is common for these to wear out. AnswerI had a similar problem. The sound got worse as time went on. At first, before the clickig it was a "whirring" sound that increased as tire speed increased (like a tire wearing badly on one edge). Then it began to click in the turns; first just when turning one way; then the other. This is typical of the wear indications for a CV JOINT going bad. In my case, it was just on the right side. I had FIRESTONE fix it. For the longest time I thought I had bad tires; but it was the CV JOINT.

answer answer the bearings inside steering column,(behind steering wheel) are worn out. replace them soon or you will have to replace the steering shaft in column. bearing replacement will cost you about 60 bucks in a shop. shaft replacement will cost about 250 bucks just to buy the shaft, so don't let this problem get any worse

Noises can be difficult to pin point ---it is usually nesessary to hear them yourself---but another possibility is the bearing in the top of the strut mount could be worn out or dry so when you turn the steering wheel --while standing still--the strutt assembly moves eratically rather then smothly making a clicking sound--Put your hand on the strut tower while turning the wheel and see if you can feel it
