You had a ceserian section birthCan you use a tampon?
Yes, you can use a tampon during your next menstrual period. It's unlikely you'd see a period until a few months after you give birth, so by that time there should be no risk at all from tampon use after birth. Just be aware that your flow may be different to normal, make sure to use correct absorbency.
What to expect during a c section?
U should expect not to b in any pain, first off. If its a planned one the docs may opt for a spinal block instead of an epideral bc with an epideral it might risk a dead nerve, which mean there may be a spot that is not numbed and causes u to feel pain during the procedure. Of course, in emergencies they will give extra epideral. Before they cut u, the doc will test to see if u r numb with pointed prongs. Its rare if u feel the procedure, but I had a friend who did. U will be fine. The c section will be quick, quicker in er situations. U won't feel too much pain. Sometimes, they will leave the iv epideral running and u will have a standing order for some percecet or some other narcotic. Some ppl will shiver when not cold or itch bc of the iv medication. This is a normal response and u will have a standing order for benedryl. Expect not to eat bc they can't feed u until they know u will keep down food and ur bowel sounds return. It is not uncommon for u to vomit the first fe hours. U will bleed less than thos who had vaginal births, and bleeding will increase as u increase ur activity. Recovery time is longer compared to vaginal births. Any more questions? If so, ask. I'm a nurse who had four c sections!

Can a baby swallow it's bowel movement if born by C Section?
Yes, a baby can swallow its bowel movement, known as meconium, regardless of the delivery method, including C-section. Meconium is the first stool a newborn passes, which can sometimes occur before or during labor. If the baby inhales or swallows meconium-stained amniotic fluid, it can lead to a condition called meconium aspiration syndrome, which may require medical attention. However, this is not specifically related to being born via C-section.

Is giving birth painful for a 13-year-old girl who desperately wants a water and natural birth?
Using water in your labour, and having a 'natural' birth will greatly increase your chances of having a rewarding, positive and less painful birth. Having a water birth will help lessen your chances of tearing, it will help relax you (which means you aren't fighting the contractions, which means they're less painful) and having it naturally means you aren't being tampered with, which allows your body to get on with doing what it was built for: giving birth.

Yea, if the tub had any water in it.
Can you have your tubes tied right after a c-section?
Yes, but be sure to ask your insurance company if they will cover the procedure if done in combination with child delivery. I've heard some will not. If you are having a c-section delivery this is a good time to have it done. I had my tubal ligation after a c-section birth and there was no more discomfort than a normal c-section. This was my third delivery. My insurance company did pay for it.
What is the proper ICD-9 procedure code for tubal ligation?
V25.2 is a diagnosis code, not a procedure code. Sterilization for females are found under codes 66.2x and 66.3x, for males 63.7x (per Faye Brown 2009).
