All Northstars have 2 crank sensors, there are located just to the side of the oil filter adapter & behind the front motor mount. I strongly you forget about figuring out which one is sensor A & which is sensor B. Replace both!

93-99 are the same part number for both sensors & are interchangeable. 2000+ have 2 different part numbers for each sensor & are not interchangeable with the 93-99 sensor.

The only warning you will get is there will be no cold air. Once the freon is low, if you turn on the AC and look at the clutch on the compressor and it doesnt cycle on and off you need to add freon. Usually one can of freon will get you up and cooling if you catch it soon. If not add a little more while the car is running and keep checking the air coming out. Now heres the thing, if you lost freon you have a leak. It could be a slow one,like I have had for many years. I just add a can to a can and a half each summer and it works fine. Otherwise take it to a A/C repair shop,but be prepared for a hefty bill.
Dont put more than two cans in or you may damage the compressor if you dont know what you are doing.

Plastic interior pieces in cars are normally held in place by clips behind the plastic face. You can carefully use a flat head screwdriver on most pieces (but be careful or you may break the clips), or you can purchase a set of pry tools at your local auto parts store that are shaped specifically to pry the plastic pieces away from the clips.

open hood . Go behind headlamp, disconnect buls and turn black locking ring to left and unlock. Remove bulb and socket assy as unit , then remove bulb. NOTE DO NOT TOUCH NEW BULB WITH EXPOSED SKIN ( finger). OIL FROM YOUR SKIN WILL SHORTEN BULB LIFE. HOLD BULB WITH CLOTH OR TISSUE . INSTALL NEW BULB AND REINSTALL

If you use plain water, below 32 degrees the coolant and engine block will freeze. Anti freeze also allow coolant to reach a higher temperature, ( plain water boils at 212 degrees F ) before boiling.

IF U look @ the Condenser & find the line that coemes from the top of IT-THATS NOT THE LOW Pressure-Trace the other line @ the bottom of the Condenser & U will find the LOW port.

1. Be Careful. 2. Remove old oilpan. 3. While you are there replace the oil pump and wire out your oil holes. 4. Replace with new oilpan. The oilpan does not need to be torqued to it's limit - just enough so it doesn't leak. Gasket sealer only makes things worse. If your oilpan is getting pressurized you have other problems. 1. Be Careful. 2. Remove old oilpan. 3. While you are there replace the oil pump and wire out your oil holes. 4. Replace with new oilpan. Under the rear seat on the drivers side ..... and now I have to take time to laugh. IT is in a black box ........... you will need to remove the cover. and Why are you laughing

You need to tell us what the problem is(wont start, backfires,etc.)before we can give you an idea to try.

Even easier way is to remove the cap on top and loosen the drain plug on the bottom. --- easiest way to drain radiator, is to disconnect the bottom radiator hose from the radiator

Drain plug should be on bottom or rear of the radiator or remove lower radiator hose

turn the key on engine off push the lock an unlock buttons on the key fob at the same time you will hear the horn beeb once use a large magnet and start a the left front wheel place the magnet close to the valve stem you will hear the horn beeb once go clockwise around the car at each wheel sensor an the horn will beeb if you are with the magnet at the sensor an the horn dose not sound move the magnet in on the wheel at the sensor and the horn will sound on the last tire the horn sounds twice start the car and you are done ken Reny Renys automotive Inc Grand rapids Mi 616-243-3323 but please check tire presure in all tires frist and repair leaks .

I tried this about 6 times. First time I got 3 tires to do it and couldn't get the fourth to chirp. Other times either got 1 or 2 tires but no more. Finally was able to do it very easily. Magnet was not powerful enough. Make sure you have a strong magnet.

DRIVERS SIDE (LEFT) there is a cover on the side of trans it can be done in car but you have to remove anything in the way of cover. you will need to remove trans mount to allow trans to be angled to remove cover. don't let a trans shop sell you the works this problem also trips other codes and trans shop will feed you bs that you need a new torque converter,sprockets and gears.costing up to $3,000. switch costs around $79.00 and labor can be 6hrs

Theres a radiator hose blocking the smog pump's exit out the bottom of the car. Get a catch pan for the antifreeze (should leak a couple quarts) and undo the hose where it attaches to the engine block. Theres 2 bolds holding the smog pump, one is accessible from above, and one from below the car. From under the car, jocky the pump so the pully is facing down push the radiator hose out of the way as much as possible and pull it out from the gap you created removing the radiator hose. It's a tight fit, but it will go
