Doing so will ensure that the old fluid is completely removed and will remove any contaminates and moisture from your brake system.
This is the proper way to bleed brakes on any vehicle, especially ones with ABS systems. Just remember to refill the reservoir before starting the next wheel and always use new fluid, never old. You will most likely have to add new fluid to the reservoir while doing each wheel, especially when removing the old fluid from each line. If you forget to keep it full, you may have to start all over again because there will be air drawn into the lines. After finishing the job, check fluid level again and top fluid off if needed. Go for a ride and check for proper pedal travel.

It's difficult to replace, but not impossible.
