When I took mine down to replace the 4wd switch I used a 7mm nut driver and started removing the screws that were holding it in. I think there are about 6 or so. One is at the top on the inside of where your speedometer is and is visible there is one down on the right underneath like by the emergency brake and so on. If you look you will see. You can even run your hand around and feel for them. The hardest to get to was under the ashtray back above my console. When all the screws are out wiggle it a little and it will pop off. Be very careful they crack easy!
Wlftkr: One thing I learned, tape the screws to the hole you removed them from and you won't be looking at a couple left overs or wonder why this one is longer, or why it came out so easy but is going in all wrong.

Go to cruchfield.com they have a section that will tell you. I have a 1997 Altima, and I went to Crutchfield.com and was told I had 5x7's in the front, and 6x9's in the rear. Turns out I REALLY had 6.5's in the rear(yes, they were stock) So, ALWAYS double check if you get info from crutchfield(or anyone for that matter) Chances are you have the same speakers i did. 5x7's in the front doors, and 6.5's on the rear package shelf.
Why is 87 ranger 2.9 losing oil pressure and pinging realllly bad after it warms up?
WOW! I own an 89 Ranger 2.9 and I am going thru the same thing you are. The only difference is that one of my lifter/pushrods is tapping really bad so I'm going to be replacing the lifter on that one. The way I found the tapping pushrod is I took of the valve covers and started the engine to observe the pushrods and see if they were staying wet with oil. Which revieled the bad lifter not providing oil to the pushrod. One thing that helped the tapping is I added half to 3/4 of a quart of transmission oil and ran it for about a week. Transmission oil has a high level of detergent, this was to loosen sludge that may have been clogging the lifter. Then I changed oil/oil filter and added a hole bottle of LUCAS oil stabilizer to the new oil change substituting the proper amount of oil. And as I started the engine I could hear the tapping gradually go AWAY!! I'm still going to change the lifter and also replace the engine oil pump which will run $70-$80 and $20-$30 for the gasket. The lifter was $6 and the intake manifold gasket was $44, valve cover gasket is $11. I'll now need a good/cold six pack of Coors Light, a Styx CD and follow the Chiltons manual very carefully. Wish me luck!

How do you turn off the lights at night on a 1998 camaro without turning off the engine?
you can turn them off by disabling the automatic lights which is done by cutting the wire should be a grey wire on the back of the switch itself but i'd get a diagram to find out which color wire is the right one instead of cutting the wire you can you can pull the emergency brake one click and light up the brake light in the cluster the lights will turn off.
How do you remove transmission from 2000 z28 camaro?
The easy was is through the front with engine. Or you get a trans jack, support pan & unbolt from block. You have to remove driveshaft/crossmember first & keep it level with engine then just roll it backwards off of convertor which will still be attached to flywheel. Take care not to damage input shaft. Front of car will have to go pretty high to roll it out.

Well i own a 93 z28 and i do enough work on it to know that a z28 comaro has a v-8 engine so it would have to be 8 because you need a fuel injector for each cylinder
