Follow the directions in owners manual. Just going by memory, Turn the ignition to run or acc,and make sure the stereo is turned of.Press and hold the Display button for a bit, around 5-15seconds. Then it will beep and say Settings on the stereo display. Then use the Seek or Forward/Reverse buttons to scroll to Fob Prog.(I think) Press Display. Then you have to hold down some of the buttons on the remote till it beeps. If you have more than one fob, you have to program it at the same time so it will work. Here's a site with the complete instructions... http://www.programyourremote.com/ Good luck.
It depends on whether you are talking 2 door, or 4 door. The 2 door Caprice, and the 2 door Impala are totally different body styles. The Caprice and Impala 4 door pillarless hardtops (like the super trendy supernatural car), are the same basic body style. The Caprice however, is a much higher and classier trim level. Walnut accents on the door panels, triple red taillights with the back up lights moved to the lower bumper ends, and thinner classier stainless trim, much lower on the body than Impala. Caprice 4 doors were all pillarless hardtops, but the impalas could be ordered as pillarless, or closed 4 door sedan styles.
