If you know the value of the resistor you can cut the wires going to the lock cylinder and solder in a resistor of the correct value.

Generally added via. the coolant reservoir tank. Unless the system was drained.

Radiator cap could also be removed and top fluid off to below opn'g. If system is over-full, excess will drain back to reservoir tank most likely.

Be sure to use Dextron II for this model year.....not "Green"colored type!

You put the fluid in the dipstick tube.

Thermostat is located on right side of engine where the top water hose connects to the block. Disconnect water hose from engine (put a pan under car to catch anifreeze that will drip out) Two bolts hold the housing on. Thermostat will be setting in the opening to block. Tap gently with small hammer to losen an remove. Replace with new thermostat, run some sealant carefully around base of housing and tighten bolts back up. 1993 Chevy Lumina APV Van

The antifreeze is not coming from your transaxle actually it is usually from your intake ,running down the trans case. This is a very common problem that 3.1,3.4 lt have is leaks at the intake.You have to replace your intake seals. But check under your throttle body ass. to make sure its the intake and not the heater hose connection that runs underthere.

Look over the units to make sure they have the same appearance, bolt loctions dimensions; if they do, go ahead and switch them.

The battery is located under the windshield wiper reservoir. You may need to remove the sir filter housing to get to it also. Its driver side front and its side post. Negative terminal is closer to the front of the vehicle.

You have to remove the following: 1. Throttle body and breather 2. Alternator 3. Power steering pump (leaving the hoses attached). 4. Air Conditioning Compressor 5. Top engine mounting brackets. 6. The Exhaust cross over pipe. 7. Spark plug wires. 8. Ignition coil 9. Upper intake 10. Fuel injector assembly 11. Lower intake 12. rocker arms and rods (making sure to keep them in order). 13 remove the heads. (note on the rear head you do not have to disconnect the exhaust manifold from the exhaust system, simply place a jack under tail pipe next to the head and lift it slightly and then slide the head gasket in. hope this helps.

Replacing a lock does not necessarily mean you have to have separate keys. There are two ways to go about it.

You could go to a dealer and order a replacement cylinder. They can match it to your key. The downside to this is that, as any dealer part, this will be expensive.

You could also buy a new cylinder and take it to a locksmith that specializes in automotive locks. They should be able to rekey the cylinder to your existing key.

Heater core, windshield, or a clogged cowl drain line. If the liquid tastes sweet it is coolant and the heater core is leaking. Heater core must be replaced. If not, it is one of the other 2 problems.

hi, if your thinking about trying 2 deactivate the theft system yourself you cant. only way 2 do it is take it 2 a specialist and some times they cant even do it

you would have to do it manually by either loosening or tightening the stop screw on the throtle plate, it will take several times until it compensates

The best way is to do a compression and/or leak down test. If it's overheating in a fairly short amount of time it's probably a bad gasket or cracked head. Using antifreeze without any visible leaks is a good indication.

Some symptoms of a bad catalytic converter on a 1994 Lumina are engine stalling, engine backfiring, no start of engine, and poor power pick up. If the catalytic converter has rust holes, the vehicle will also be very loud when running.

The best way to find out is go to your local auto parts store, ask for a haynes or chiltons manual on your vehicle. This will tell you everything you need to know about working on your vehicle. It is located underneath the car back by the fuel tank. Relieve fuel pressure if you can, if not be careful removing the fuel filter. One side of the fuel filter disconnects with a wrench, the otherside has a quick disconnect sometimes covered by a dust boot. Depress the plastic pins to remove.

When I changed mine, I don't think mine is an LTZ but I think the parts are the same, despite having the gas cap off, there seemed to be some pressure on the line. Once I released the hose with the quick disconnect, there was a spray of gas that was probably about 3tbsp. I had some trouble getting the (metal) hose disconnected with the wrench and in retrospect suspect it would have been easier if I had released the quick release first. However, once both sides were disconnected, there was no additional gasoline spillage.

You cannot adjust this item it is a set spring that opens at a certain temp to prevent your vehicle from overheating. It must be replaced if failing, and usually they cost under ten dallors at a part store not a dealership.

Unhook your horn and hot wire it from the battery to see if it work. If only one wire is going to your horn that should be your hot wire so gound the negitive wire from the battery to your body.

Check the floor heat vent and defrost to see if air comes from them. The vents will be vacuum controlled and a vacuum leak will make the vent doors divert air to the wrong place. Check the entire engine and climate control systems for a vacuum leak.

The proper pressure for you vehicle's tires will be listed on the label on the driver side door jamb.
