Unbolt them from the floor. First remove the plastic covers (they pop off) then remove the four bolts holding the seat down. There's one on each corner. Disconnect the seat belt sensor wire before pulling the seat out of the car.

The 2.0L engine found in Chevrolet Trackers utilizes an upper timing chain that runs the intake and exhaust camshafts, while the lower runs a center gear which in turn, runs the upper chain. The lower chain on mine broke due to a worn timing chain guide.

I had a check engin light on for years on my 99 tracker the mechanics couldn't find the problem, I bought a new gas cap (3 dollars ) it turned off and hasn't turned on since, its been four years.

The IAT ( Intake Air Temperature ) sensor is located on the back of the air cleaner housing.

on my 2003 there is a knob on the left hand side of the dash that controls the headlites. if you turn it all the way to the left (its spring loaded) while the vehicle is on the lites will turn off.

It can be a number of things, check your fuel delivery. Make sure there is spark going to the engine and make sure there is fuel going also. It could be a clogged fuel filter, faulty spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor. Also, check your timing chain. These are just some of the basics.

They are set from the factory to come on as Daytime running lights.There is a way to change those setting. Go to the Edmund's tracker forum and search for Drl disconnect.The Suzuki Vitara is the same vehicle and there might be info at the forums for them also.

See Haynes Repair Manual, for 1986-2001 Tracker, sec. 6-11. However, it is a two person job. One with a short jumper wire at the engine compartment and one in the vehicle with a pencil and paper. There are too many codes (5) and the causes and possible repairs to list here due to copyright laws. First: locate the test connector on the passenger side of the engine compartment above the spring housing on the right fender lining. It is a small white plastic device with four "I" shaped ports. They are numbered from the top left as 1, 2 then the bottom row is 3 and 4. You will be using ports 2 and 3. The codes will flash on the dashboard in a designated fashion according to the five codes.

Soft Top:: The side panels need to be unzipped then pulled down. There are pieces that attach into a grove, they shouldpopout. then unzip the back window. the top will slideoutof the samekind of groves on the rookof the car.

I have removed many with this procedure get a good quality socket slightly smaller than the locking nut hammer it on to the locking nut but no to split it that's why you need a good quality socket, Chrome Vandium spec, then attach the wrench to undo the locking nut.CozyMerc.

when you look at the top of the motor you will see four black plastic caps with wires going to them you need to take them off and you will need a long spark plug remover to get to the spark plugs but that is were they are located

A bad relay could be the reason why the parking lights on the Toyota Sequoia won't turn off. Swapping the relay out with another one may fix this problem.

On the top of the door, just below mirror you unscrew one bolt. Then, unscrew one bolt behind the door handle. Next, gently remove the door panel itself by inserting a flathead screwdriver on the bottom of the panel, and inserting and sliding it on the bottom part. The panel will remove, but be careful because wires are connected to your door lock and windows which are near the door handle.

It is relatively easy, the only really tricky part is sliding the first piece back on (below your mirror). That last step is a bit tricky, but not impossible. When it is off, you'll see how to slide that last part back on.

I am looking for the same answer. All of the other fuses are removable with ease. I cannot find any release. Please help me.

you must take the screws out. there is one on eack leg of the fuse. I think they are are both Phillips and 10mm nut
