It depends on the size of the van. I have a 20 footer that weighs 16k. But, they make smaller ones too that carry the p30 name.

You can call the dealer and ask if they know where it is as far as checking it you should get someone to hold the relay and turn on the key but dont start it then turn it off do this several times and if the person holding it hears clicking or feels it switching on it should be good. On my '92 van it is on the firewall, just under the hood, near the center. I have not had a relay failure but I have had three fuel pump failures on my van. When you first turn the ignition on, before starting the engine, the relay will "click" on for a few seconds, then click off. If you pop the hood and have someone standing near it they will hear it click on and off. More importantly, if someone can be near the fuel tank when you do this they should hear the fuel pump briefly run for the same amount of time (it should sound like a faint humming sound). To really check it you would need to use a test light to see if 12V is getting to the fuel pump / relay in and out terminals. In general, the fuel pump will last longer if you keep a fair amount of fuel in the tank. Don't run the tank dry (or even nearly dry). I like to fuel up when the fuel guage drops to 1/4 tank. The fuel actually runs through the pump motor and cools it. If the tank level is too low and the gas sloshes to one side or another the pump will run dry. You probably won't notice it, but the pump can overheat and wear out or fail prematurely. Good Luck Richard Rea

You need a OBD2 engine scanner to do that. Advance auto parts will do it for free.

If the engine light is on then it will do no good to turn it off unless you fixed the problem that made it come on in the first place, It will just come back on.

The balancer is made of 2 pieces That have a rubber piece in the center of them that hold the balancer together. If the balancer comes apart YES it will knock / make noise and the engine would vibrate/shake. You would be able to move 1 piece of the balancer with your hand if that was the case. Check it.

I do not know. All that I know is that You loosen the bolt and then it should turn but doesn't. Please someone tell us how you are suppose to get it rotated?

sometimes hitting with your fist closed will do the trick; hit around where the latch is located sometimes hard some times soft; my G20 will open this way when I do it this until a get a replacement cable hope this works for you

I have a 1995 S-10 Blazer and a 1986 Astro. They both do this especially when using the turn signals. It's worse in warm weather. We had the Blazer's control wand changed at the dealership twice to fix it. I assume its a design problem. There's just to much jammed into the area and too much power and it acts like it jumps circuits the way my old VW Beetle would. Honk the horn and the wipers would cycle.

First you have to hit the button to "Relearn Tire Positions" with the vehicle running and in park. When you hit the button, the horn will beep twice, and the display will read "Relearning Tire Positions". You then have to get out of the vehicle and go to the left front tire and remove the air valve and let air out of the tire for at least 5 seconds. When you are done, after a couple of seconds, the horn will beep once. Then you go to the right front tire and repeat the procedure, then the left rear tire, then the right rear tire. They must be done in this order! The horn should beep once after every wheel you do, and then when you are done, the horn should beep twice again to let you know you've done it right. I think once you start the procedure, it gives you so many minutes to complete it (like five minutes, I think). Good luck! Do the above with ignition on or engine running. Once you have release air pressure from each wheel and heard the double beep at the right rear wheel refill tires to 35psi or 240kp. The display will recalibrate. At this point turn the igntion off and restart engine. The light will now be out.

Before anything you have to remove negative battery cable to avoid to get a shok from that. You will have to release the bolts to replace the starter.

My 1994 Astro EXT AWD has a compartment located inside the vehicle at the rear right corner.

Open the rear doors and look at the right side of the cargo area just behind the wheel well bump. There is a plastic knob that can be unscrewed to remove the jack compartment cover. It is labeled.

I tried what a service manager suggested about shorting out the number eight pin on the obd 2 to the body but that did not work either and I hate to pay the dealer fifty dollars for something so simple GM does not want to include it in the owner's manual how bout some help? big buford

Under the hood, on the drivers side. The cover says, "Fuse/Relay center". Pull the cover and locate the relay using the map under the cover.
