How do you change the air filter on 2001 Sebring LXI?
Sorry if I don't have all the proper names for the parts but I just did this yesterday. Locate the air box and find the locking tabs on the side near the fire wall. If you follow the tube from the air box back to the intake you'll see a clamp, remove this clamp and that end of the tube from the intake. You should now be able to twist and back out the tube and remove the filter. Note: I put the filter into the air box first then reinstalled the tube and then reconnected everything. Not a great design.

Well i'm not sure which engine you have, but i have an 04 Sebring Sedan, 2.4L DOHC (4cyl). and mine was located on the top of the engine right hand side of the head. It took me all of 5 minutes to take off and put the new one on. Good luck

How do you replace the rear turn signal bulb on a 1997 Sebring Convertible?
inside your trunk there are two or three plastic nuts that you have to remove to get the taillight assembly off the vehicle. once you have the nuts off push on the bolt ends and the taillight should pop out to enable you access to the rear of the taillight. from there its just twisting the lightbulb holders out of their twistseal mechanisms and replacing the light bulbs. be sure to use a clean cotton cloth to handle the lightbulb. you'll regret it if you handle them w/bare hands. they can shatter or overheat and blow out prematurely. once you have the lightbulb that is out replaced just reinsert the light assembly back into the mounting location, guiding the bolts back into their holes. Screw on the 3 plastic bolts and you're all set! just a tip on the plastic bolts, you can use a set of adjustable pliers or the right size wrench, but if they give you a lot of trouble you can use a set of visgrips, but dont over tighten them because they'll ruin your plastic bolts. the bolts are hard to turn with bare hands.

More than likely the problem is with the climate control unit. Go to a salvage lot, get a replacement unit there (it will not be expensive) and replace the one in your car. I think you can simply pull the trim piece from around the climate control unit and then the unit has 4 screws holding it in place.

at the "front" of the motor behind the timing belt. you have to remove the timing belt covers and, remove the timing belt, and the water pump is one of the the center pulleys i have been told by many mechanics that you have to remove the intake manifold to change the pump because one of the supply pipes are underneath it and you cannot get to them without removing it.
