Check your belt tensioner idler pulley, I replaced mine for about $120.00 from a Mitsubishi dealer compared to $170.00 from a Dodge dealer. 1995-2000 Dodge Avengers were made by Mistubishi for Dodge.

yes you can convert but u need to buy a flywheel to replace flex plate then you need to buy a clutch; install a clutch pedal in car and make sure transmission bell housing matches bolt holes on block. u may also need different length drive shaft to match

on the firwall on the driver side there are 3 relays, one is the fuel pump relay

Obvious one: Out of gas Possibles: Clogged fuel filter Fuel pump either going out or has gone bad O2 sensor in exhaust not sending the correct signal to ECM Clogged air filter (not likely but check) Throttle position sensor going bad Bad fuel, water in fuel Vacuum hose off There's a start for now.........

THE MOST COMMON CAUSE WOULD BE REALLY POOR SPARK PLUG WIRES THAT START SHORTING TO THE ENGINE BLOCK WHEN THEY BECOME DAMP. BUT OBVIOUSLY IF ITS JUST IN THE RAIN THAT THIS HAPPENS YOU HAVE SOMETHING SHORTING UNDER THE HOOD WHEN IT GETS WET. TRY SPRAYING ALL OF THE WIRING WITH A SILICONE AUTOMOTIVE SPRAY(AUTO ZONE OR WHERE EVER ) SEE WHAT THAT DOES FIRST. ALSO SPRAY IT ON THE DISTRIBUTER AND ANYTHING ELSE YOU SEE UNDER THE HOOD THAT IS ELECTRICAL. GOOD LUCK!!

Try getting the fuel injectors cleaned. They had to flush mine twice at the dealership. Cost less than $200. Was well worth it.

1) Take off the wheel.

2) Take off the brake assembly (2 bolts located torward the engine of the car)

3) Make sure brake assembly is secured so it doesn't just dangle... use a bungie cord to hold it to the strut

4) The rotor is right there.

I just change my fuel filter in a 95 Avenger v6. I have to take the batterie out, and the windschild wascher fluid coonteiner, then lose it up the bottom and upper hose in the fuel filter and last take the fuel filter out with the bracket attach to it.

Defective switch, switch not adjusted, blown fuse

i have the same problem with my avenger. 95 with the 2.0 only 80K miles. changed the spark plugs,wires,egr valve, camshaft sensor, all the vacuum hoses, the pcv valve, timing belt, injectors, alternator, and fuel filters and pump. going to change the ecm next. will let you know how it works

== == == == if the car is cranking over you should check a couple things. first check if you have a bad spark plug of wire(the should be replaced at 100,000 miles). second you should check if your fuel pump is bad and see if your injectors are clean. Try checking the crankshaft position sensor or camshaft position sensor if they are bad your car won't crank. (look at coil pack where plug wires are there will be a 3 wire plug going to it put a light tester on the center wire and have a friend crank your car if test light does not stay on the it is probably one of the two sensors mentioned.

You will have to remove the instrument panel from the dash board. You will more than likely have to remove the the moulding that surronds the panel in order to expose the screws that hold the panel on. When you remove the screws, you should be able to move the panel around a little bit, but there will still be wire harnesses going into the back of the panel. Reach your hand around to the back of the panel and remove the wire harnesses. This can usuall be done by squeezing the side (short side of the rectangle) and pulling gently. After removing the harnesses, you should be able to remove the panel and acces the lights on the back of the unit. Go to your local friendly autoparts store and purchase replacement dash lights. While you are there, pick up a copy of the service manual for your car, such as Chiltons, as they are invaluable when attempting jubs such as these and others yourself....
