I just changed mine and trust me it wasn't easy. To begin with you have to disassemble the powersteering pump. Then you have to take the whole front of the motor apart basically. I took off the front motor mount so I could jack the motor for easy access to the timing cover which had to be removed. Lots of things have to come off just to get to the water pump including the valve cover. Have fun doing it but it takes at least 5 hours if you are an ok mechanic.

I don't see the prob. with the change, according to my book it's the same as my 93 and it took me approx. an hour to an hour and a half...I left a rather detailed answer on the 93 question...

Well I just did mine also and there is no way anyboby can do it in 1 hour or 2 for that matter. The man hrs for just the timing belt alone calls for 2.6 hrs.

Corvettes have some nice seats as well as some older Mustang Cobras, or you could go aftermarket sesating.It depends on your intended use and your vehicle.You may also need the track system for some seats or modify the existing ones or go totaly custom.

This problem is not likely to be directly related to having replaced the front brake pads, although it may be possible that your brake pedal height was altered somehow, especially if you had a leaking brake line or bled the brakes. Check your brake switch, it should be located near your brake pedal inside the cab and under the dash. You should be able to locate it by pressing and releasing the pedal while looking for a button or switch that is contacted (by the pedal) by doing so. Said switch must be adjusted so that the pedal will activate the switch (usually by holding a button switch in) when the pedal is released. Some trial and error adjustments will tell you what works properly and what doesn't. Having a friend watch the brake lights and telling you when they're on or off while you make adjustments will speed up the process.

I have the small v8 its under the air intake plastic square peice right over the fan loosen the clamp on air intake to filter pivot it up toward passanger side and you will be able to get to it easy

DTC stands for 'diagnostic trouble code'. The code is obtained by having your engine computer (PCM) scanned with an OBD-II code reader. Some auto parts stores will do this for free (AutoZone), others charge a small fee. An OBD-II scanner can also be purchased for $100-$300 or so, depending on features (even less on E-bay). Others can cost thousands (Tech-II, etc.), and have software updates annually. I recommend having some kind of scanner if you plan to do any mechanical engine work on a post 1997 vehicle.

I found out that it was actually the TPS, throttle position sensor. replaced it, problem solved.

Either your oil is breaking down and needing replacement, or your engine's bearings are wore enough that they have large clearances. This requires replacing the bearings/ overhauling the engine.
