Basically all Ford midsize and full size cars and light trucks utilized the 5x5.5 bolt pattern, because Ford only used (for the most part) a single 5 lug bolt pattern. I know GM used a 5x5.5 and 5x6.5 bolt pattern quite often, but Ford mainly used the 5x5.5. The Ford Rangers, F150 of the 1/2 ton setup, Crown Victorias, Mercury Grand Marquis and Merauders, Lincoln Town Cars, etc, all used the 5x5.5 bolt patterns. There are more, but too many to list.

If you're getting anti-freeze on or around the timing chain cover it's probably coming from the water-pump. Check the bottom of the water pump shaft. There are "weep holes"at the bottom. If there are mineralization traces coming out of the weep holes you need a new water pump. No, it shouldn't. Yes, it can. A lot of timing chain covers have antifreeze passages and the gasket can fail.

1.8.4.3.6.5.7.2 standard Chevy timing/firing order. the #1 on the distributor will be pointing @ the #1 cyl when @ top dead center.( front drivers side.

Changing a thermostat in a 1997 Dodge Ram 318 is very simple to do. First the radiator hose will need to be removed from the thermostat. After the hose is removed, loosen the nuts that are holding the thermostat in place. Then the thermostat will need to be pulled out using just the hands. Then replace with a new thermostat.

It is Part of the Sentry Key Computer and instrument cluster. The Sentry Key Computer is located on the steering column around the key cylinder.

Trouble code P0101 means:Mass or volume circuit range performance problem

The fuel injection system is designed to work with a manifold pressure sensor, MAP, not a mass airflow sensor, MAF.

You can put a 5.7 in a truck that held a 4.7, but it is a tight fit. You also have to replace the radiator if you do this. It is a difficult swap, but possible.

It will say "Eco on" in the odometer box

There is no "fuel pump timing". If you mean injector pump timing, that requires special equipment not generally available to the home mechanic.

Usually indicates a problem in the emission control system. Have vehicle scanned to determine the problem

There is an amp only if equiped with factory infinity stereo with 7 speakers. If so, the amp is behind the glovebox.

The starter has probably failed.

The computer adjusts ignition timing to take the place of EGR.

4th gear is overdrive. the computer locks out overdrive until the transmission fluid is up to normal operating temperature. once up to normal temp, the vehicle will shift into overdrive and all is well. there is only a problem if the vehicle does not shift into 4th AFTER reaching proper operating temperature. The thinking is that the transmission warms up faster in 3rd than it would in 4th (overdrive). I believe this type of control is due to environmental laws, or fuel consumption considerations. what confuses me is that the recommended operating procedure when towing or hauling is to manually lock out overdrive in an effort to keep trans fluid cooler. here you have specia controls built into the vehicle to warm up tans fluid faster by using 3rd gear. then, once up to normal temp, you need to lock out 4th because trans fluid will run cooler in 3rd. very odd. I been trying to find out why this is for a long time.
