Where is crank position sensor on dodge srt10?
It's on the passenger side of the engine. About halfway down the motor just in front of where the motor mounts to the frame....you'll see a plug with a wires coming out of it. Mine had an aluminum foil type covering on the wires. Use a 7/16" deep socket to remove it.....you can't see it from the top of the engine, you have to crawl under the truck.....very simple install though.....good luck
the switch is usually located in the tranny near where the shift linkage goes into the tranny

Make sure the steering wheel is centered and the tires are straight. Disconnect the battery to prevent any shocks. Remove the horn pad and disconnect the wires. Remove the nut from the center of the column assembly and slide off the steering wheel. Remove the next three screws and unscrew the plastic housing. Slide out the ignition switch assembly and unplug the wires from the back of it. Now replace it with the new ignition switch and reverse the steps to put everything back together.

The distributor is set at 0 deg and the computer does all the advancing. You set the crank at 0 and line the rotor up with the line in the pickup plate then using a scan tool you sync the distributor to zero degrees. It can not be done with a timing light.

You need to open bleeder and compress the piston back with a large channelock pliers/ C-clamp and use some force. Probably some corrision in bore causing the piston to hang up. Good luck.
AnswerThis is not quite right. On mine, anyway, there is a 14mm hex-head close to the 14mm hex-head that retains the handbrake cable on the back of the caliper. You need to remove this 14mm hex head, not the one that holds on the cable, and inside is an adjuster with an Allen head-- 6mm I think. You need to back this out as far as it will go. There is NO NEED to use force or unscrew the bleed nipple. You'll have to readjaust the handbrake later either by the time-honoured method or screwing in the little adjuster. AnswerThe above procedure is the same for a Mazda MX5 mark 2 (1.6). The only difference is that the Allen screw behind the 14mm hex-head is 4mm. AnswerThe best way is to use the Allen key adjuster to retract the cylinder , no force necessary , no bleeding etc . Its easy that way AnswerIt could also be possible that the piston needs to be rotated clockwise to allow it retract. This is due to the self adjusters. This can be done with the CORRECT tool ( about £20) or with a pair of water pump pliers ( not the best, but when noting else will do!). AnswerCaliper pistons on rear disc brakes rotate to retract. If you use any tool to press them back in as you would on from disc brakes, you will damage the calipers and possibly the tool. Its located at the front driver side corner of the fuel tank and held in place with a small metal clamp. You need a flashlight to see it most likely. Push the filter up out of the clamp and then thread it through the hole above the frame to give yourself some room to work. Then just slide the two inlet clamps up the hoses and clamp off the hoses just higher with a locking pliers or similar (unless you want to take a fuel bath) and then you can use a screwdriver to push the hoses off the connections. Then simply connect the same hoses to the same connectors on the new filter (you did look right?) and put it back in the clamp (probably the hardest part!). Done.
Why does the lamp out light stay on after replacing tail light bulbs on a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500?
Boy, you dare question the computer brain of your car? It means either the bulb wasn't completely connected on install, jiggling around to replace it you loosend another, or another is still out. Look hard. OR try this:
its called the multifunction switch. the contacts can get dirty and corroded and lightly burnt and it changes the resistance of the switch. this will not fix the "lamp out" warnining though. the Front Control Module monitors the continuity of the wiring for the headlamps, brake lamps(not including the 3rd), park and turn lamps. take it to a dealer and they can retreive codes out of the FCM to tell which bulb has the open. even if the bulb is working when you check your ligths, you can hit bumps and a broken filament can vibrate and lose contact quickly and start working again by the time you check it.
Check your battery if its fully charged, if it is then you have a wiring problem (shorted wiring)
