You will need both # 20 TORX head driver. These are inexpensive from your auto parts store. # Remove the key lock cylinder from the ignition switch, as follows: # Insert the ignition key into the switch, then turn the switch to the LOCK position. Using a suitable small head Phillips head screwdriver, depress the key cylinder retaining pin until it is flush with the key cylinder surface. the cylinder retaining pin can be found on the left side of the key switch, look closely--it was my biggest challenge to find it. Rotate the key clockwise to the OFF position to unseat the key cylinder from the ignition switch assembly. The cylinder bezel should be about 1/8 in. (3mm) above the ignition switch halo light ring. Do not attempt to remove the key cylinder yet. # With the key cylinder in the unseated position, rotate the key counterclockwise to the LOCK position and remove the key. # Remove the key cylinder from the ignition switch. Installing the NEW # If the vehicle is equipped with a floor mounted gear shifter, place the selector in the PARK position. # Attach the wiring connectors to the ignition switch. Make sure that the switch locking tabs are fully seated in the wiring connectors. # Mount the ignition switch to the column: ## Position the shifter in PARK position. The park lock dowel pin on the ignition switch assembly must engage with the column park lock slider linkage. ## Verify that the ignition switch is in the LOCKposition; the flag should be parallel to the ignition switch terminals. Apply a small amount of grease to the flag and pin. ## Position the park lock link to mid-travel. ## Align the locating pin hole and its pin, position the ignition switch against the lock housing face and make sure the pin is inserted into the park lock link contour slot. Tighten the retaining screws to 17 inch lbs. (2 Nm). # With the key cylinder and ignition switch in the LOCKposition, key not in cylinder, gently insert the key cylinder into the ignition switch until it bottoms. # Insert the key. Simultaneously, push in on the cylinder and rotate the key to the RUN position. This action should fully seat the cylinder in the ignition switch. # Install the column covers and the tilt lever, if equipped. # Connect the negative battery cable and check the push-to-lock and park lock functions, halo lighting and all ignition switch positions for proper operation.

Yes it will... you need to switch the flywheels though to mount it to the automatic transmission...

All of the fuses are labeled on the fuse housing, they are listed as what number and what it goes to. as for the actual size of the fuses they are the ones that are slightly wider than a half an inch...not the little ones, the medium sized ones.

I have the 94 with the 3.0. I replaced the original radiator cap with a 16# ventable cap from the auto parts store. Make sure the radiator is full and reservoir tank is at the proper level and then start the car and let it warm up. When you feel the coolant return hose get hot (not overheating the engine), turn the car off. Now open the cap for the reservoir and while looking in, operate the vent on the radiator cap. You should see the air bubbles in the tank. You may want to repeat the process a couple of times to make sure you have it all vented.

You don't its spring loaded.Make sure you have the alternator in place and bollts tightened, and any other item that the belt runs over. There will be a 1/2 inch or so of tension when its on right. To get it to loosen to put on belt you use the smallest pulley that has a bolt head on it and turn it with socket wrench or wrench to the left loosens the tension for the time you have tork them , it bounces back, but watch your fingers.

Disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the ashtray, grasp the center instrument panel bezel securely and pull it out, then unscrew the lower center module from the instrument panel. The two radio mounting screws will be readily apparent for you to unscrew. Pull the radio out and unscrew the negative strap from the back of the radio and remove the connectors and antenna lead. Installation is the reverse of removal.

i dont think it has a relay

[edit] According to the Hanes manual for Shadows, the cooling fan relay is located just above the battery. If you look at the battery, look due north, but just below the strut housing for your wheel. You should see 3 relays. The one in the corner should be the cooling fan relay. (on my '93 shadow, that relay is the starter relay.

drain the cooling system to a level below the thermostat disconnect the coolant temperature sensor wire from the sensor if nessary place shop towels on belts and pulleys remove the hose clamp and then disconnect the hose from the thermostat housing remove the 2 mounting bolts and then remove the thermostat housing remove the thermostat and discard the gasket clean both gasket surfaces thoroughly

you could have a small hole in your exhaust between your engine and your muffler....you can patch the exhaust or replace your exhaust

Go to the junk yard. Find a shadow and find out the way to remove the head light. Do the same thing on your own car.

Check for power with a circuit tester, try another bulb, or finally the mercury switch within the light may be shot.

It is on the top of the driver side fender well, there are 3-5 relays in a row they are black with metal relay on bottom side email me and ill send picture, it should be the second relay from the front of vehicle

not equiped you are going to have to use the seat belt to hold it in the seat.

My 1992 Dodge Shadow has had a little tune up and it runs about a 10.3 without a turbo. It is packin' a 2.5 Fuel Injection Mopar at its finest. I hope that adds confidence to you other dodge shadow owner/drivers. I beat this dude named Emanuel, he has a Honda Civic and it runs about a 12 withouta turbo .

it should be inline. trace you fuel line back and you should run in to it, it should be silver or clear. if it is not in line, then it is in your tank.

turn key inside the ignition and see whether the warning lights, ie check engine light and others dim as the key is being turned. If they don't dim then it is the ignition lock cylinder which is fairly easy to replace.

first what engine is it. if it is a 2.5 the ohc has a slot in it it line up on the rubber nipple that sticks up out of the valve cover at tdc(top dead center cyl 1). the marks on the distributer gear is another oval slot. this lines up with the dot on the front of the crank.
