Generally, no, high school teachers do not make fun of their students behind their backs. Teachers usually have much higher regard for students than to make fun of them at all. That's not to say that they might not share something funny that a student said or did. That would not be meant to make fun of the student, though, but simply to share a "lighter moment" with others.

First of all, try not to cry. Even if she/he shouts at you so loud you go deaf.

1. Tell another adult at school. If you have a school council maybe tell them. They can bring it up in a meeting.

2. Tell a parent or gardian. If your techer is that bad your reliable adult will have a word at school.

3. DONT panic. There are caring people all around you. Think of it as bullying, especially if you are being picked on.

4. If you have a class listening box write a small note in different handwriting. If it is you then put my friend and vice versa.

Now you can be brave and make sure you live your life well.

It depends on the rules of he school and the nature of the possession. Different standards would hold for a cell phone versus a firearm, and the list could go on and on. During the Victorian period teachers were still required to have higher education and graduate from a college. Usually having a broad spectrum of knowledge as most were teaching multiple grade levels at the same time. Teachers needed to know history, math, english, and sciences.
