How do you replace ingnition switch in 86 bronco II?
According to the manual that I have for my 86 Bronco II, it says this: Removal- Rotate the lock cylinder key to the Lock position. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery. For tilt column only, remove the upper extension shroud by squeezing it at the 6 and 12 o'clock positions and popping it free of the retaining plate at the 3 o'clock position. Remove the 2 trim shroud halves by removing the 2 attaching screws. Disconnect the ignition switch electrical connector. Drill out the break-off head bolts connecting the switch to the lock cylinder housing by using a 1/8 in. (3mm) drill bit. Remove the 2 bolts, using an Ex-3 Easy-out tool or equivalent. Disengage the ignition switch from the actuator pin. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To install- Rotate the ignition key to the RUN position, approximatly 90 degrees clockwise from LOCK. Install the replacement switch by aligning the holes on the switch casting base with the holes in the lock cylinder housing. Note that the replacement switch is provided in the RUN position. Minor movement of the lock cylinder to align the actuator pin with the U-shaped slot in the switch carrier may be required. Install the new break-off head bolts and tighten untilheads shear off (approx. 35-50 in. lbs.). Connect the electrical connector to the ignition switch. Connect the negative battery cable to the battery terminal. Check the ignition switch for proper operation in all modes. Install the sterring column trim shrouds.
This all depends on your opinion, but for me, the Toyota Highlander.
The very BEST SUV's all come from GM. Chevy manufactures many of them including the trailblazer, suburban and Tahoe. The GMC Yukon and Yukon XL are of very good quality and have great towing capability. The escalade is also a quality vehicle. the Saturn vue is good as well as the Pontiac torrent. The hummer h3 is also one of the best suvs on the market.
The next best come from ford and Chrysler. The ford expedition, and flex are good, and the jeep line builds quality vehicles and the Chrysler aspen is good as well.
i wouldent get anything else. the hundai santa fe breaks down alot because of cheap production, and Honda or Toyota cant build an SUV to save their life.

What is the space between the front seats in a 1988 Bronco II?
I have an 88' Bronco II Eddie BauerEdition, 2-WD. I also have the repair book on it as well. Some models came with a floor console, including an armrest that attaches to the top of the console. From time to time you can find oem's on eBay. If your truck, like mine, does not have the holes drilled for the console, you can drill them and still add a console.
How do you adjust carburetor on a 305?
Most 305 engines came with all the adjustments sealed.
You will need to remove the carb and find the three adjustment cover plugs and remove them.
They are: left and right idle mixture and throttle close stop.
Answer: After you check interia switch and if still have problem, check if voltage is present at EEC power relay and Fuel pump relay (especially FP relay). You will need to remove the relays to check this and leave ignition switch in OFF position. There should be voltage present at one 1 wire in each relay. On the FP relay it's the orange wire with blue stripe. Can't remember on EEC relay. Just check all wires, should only be one with voltage present, with key in OFF position. If no voltage present on any wire, check fuseable link for that relay and also find source of short circuit (probably old pump, but could be chaffed wire somewhere grounding itself to frame). Answer: Check the interia switch. It may need to be reset. It is located on the passenger floor board, under the carpet next to the tranny hump.

Would bad camshafts and followers cause a loud knocking noise coming from motor?
The noise COULD be from those parts, but in my experience, I've found that its usually something way less involved. It could be an exhaust leak, or a lack of oil, or, a sticking valve, hole in the header or muffler, or a plug wire slipped off , lots-o-possibilities. Another great reason to see your local mechanic!! good luck...BB

How do you remove stock stereo 1995 ford bronco Eddie Bour?
Use the U-shaped radio removal tools. They are available from most auto parts stores. Once you get the tools, it should only take about two minutes to remove the radio. You insert the tools into the holes on the sides of the front of the radio, push them slightly outwards, and pull the radio out.

How to adjust the carburetor for 1990 Mazda B2200?
Just under the air filter, cab side, you'll find two adjusting screws. One (A) "flat-head" screw, next to the throttle cables, and one (B)"4 way" screw used for the idle mixture. The first one (A) adjusts the idle speed, clockwise to hasten, counter-clockwise to lower. The second one (B), is the mixture screw. Clockwise enrichens the idle fuel mixture, and increases the idle. Take your time and adjust both screws for maximum performance. Also, check to see if there is a sight-glass on your carburetor, and notice how well your float works.
Off idle tuning is controlled by the computer and is not adjustable.
