There are two fuse panels; one on the power distribution box in the engine compartment located over the driver's side fender and one above the driver's footwell. If they are the automatic hubs, drive in reverse for about 10 ft. Tranafer case has to be in 2HI(4x4 off).

If it is a whining noise it is the fuel pump.

Several things can cause the fuel gauge to stop working.

1.The sending unit in the fuel tank may be malfunctioning or broken.

2.There may be a broken, disconnected, or grounded wire going to the fuel pump/sending unit.

3. There may be a disconnected wire at the gauge cluster, or the gauge cluster itself may be malfunctioning.

This may be the result of a faulty ammeter or a faulty sensor to the idiot light for charging system. You need to use a multi-meter to test for battery voltage. If there is not voltage at the fuse panel, there might be a large fuse under the hood. Check that. If the fuse is good make sure the hot wire is properly connected to the positive battery terminal. A nice clean and tight connection. Next make sure all your negative connections are clean and tight. If there is green dust on your connections use baking soda mixed with water and a toothbrush to clean them up. Works everytime. Good luck the big 100amp fuse under the hood or at the fuse box could be blown. also make sure the battery terminals are actually tightened down instead of just put in the posts, a friend of mine couldn't start his car because the connection to the battery wasn't tight.

the bronco needs to have the ground wire connected from the battery to the body. if you replaced the battery and disconnected that ground it simply won't start.

there is not a second fuse box on that application, there are fusable links in the main engine wiring harness that runs along top of the firewall. these are located just to the right of brake booster centerline, fuse links protrude out the back side of harness. There is a acc. feed relay mounted on the right inner fender it is activated by key switch, supplies power to acc., such as heater / AC blower motor curcuits.

at idle 13-20 psi

Key on engine off 23-31 psi

The interval pause is part of the switch and the whole switch will need to be repalced. Take of the steering column trim shrouds and you'll be able to see how to do the rest.

Since the governor cannot be bought. I have reverse engineered the box and have discovered how it can be repaired. If anyone needs this additional information, or want me to repair it, I would be glad to do so.

my 3.1 corsica's fuse box is on the drivers side as soon as you open the door it's there. part of the dash.

I have a 1990 bronco 2, but i just had my starter rebuilt. it was relatively simple. its located underneath the engine. sort of close to the cab. but there are two bolts that connect it to the bronco. then there is a bolt that connects a wire to it. first disconnect you battery though

There should be a screw with a spring around it some where on the carburetor turn it to the right till it stops, then turn it 1 and a half turns and it sould be perfect.

isit auto hubs or manual they are auto locking hubs. I sort of thought that it might be them. BTW when I disengage the 4x4 I cannot hear the hubs disegaging.

Flow of fuel through the carburetor is controlled by the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) - that would be the first thing to check before trying to make any adjustments.

clicking noise is probably fuel pump relay, check for battery condition, then for good connections including ground, inspect all fuses

It could be the battery. Or check the wires going from the battery to the fuse box.
