Where is the oil pressure sender unit located on a 91 Pontiac Sunbird?

The oil pressure switch in located just above and to the left of the oil filter. It fits into the same housing as the oil filter and is parallel with the rear of the engine block, just look from underneath the car in front of the inner right CV joint and you should see it (or at least track down the wire leading to it). I know this because I just changed mine recently. You'll need to remove the inner right CV joint to gain the best access to change out the switch. All you have to do is remove the wheel, the brake caliper, and un-do the ball joint from the control arm. Next just tap out the inner CV joint from the transmission buy using a big screw driver on the groove of the joint to drive it out with a hammer. Be mindful of the transmission seal! Pull the CV axle out of the way buy removing the control arm from the strut, then move the whole assembly clear of the trans. The way I replaced my switch is by removing it with a pair of vise grips, I didn't worry about damaging the old one anyway. Just intall the new switch carefully with channel-lock pliers and a bit of sealer on the threads. Don't forget the washer that goes on the switch, and tighten the whole thing down snug and every thing else is reverse of removal.

The 2003 Ford E-150 van with rear air conditioning typically requires about 2.5 to 3 pounds of R-134a refrigerant. However, it's essential to check the vehicle's specifications or the label under the hood for the exact amount, as it may vary slightly based on the specific configuration. Why does the blower not blow on high?

there is a possibility that your speed control switch could be faulty. use a standard volt meter and check the positive leads on the blower motor. turn the blower on a lower setting that you know works. Then check the volt meter reading while the blower is on low.The reading should be lower than 12volts. turn the speed control knob to high to verify you are getting voltage on high. If there is no voltage present on the high setting you need to replace your climate control unit( the speed control unit)

---------------------------------

If the above doesn't work,

Another much more common answer; Had the same situation on 3 of my Crown Victorias, years from 2001-2003, The blower motor resistor may have gone bad. The symptoms are usually 1 or more settings on the blower motor do not function properly. This is located under the hood mounted on the passenger side firewall next to the heater core hoses with four 7mm bolts. This unit normally rusts up and needs to be replaced. The unit is approximately $20 and can be purchased from the dealer. The area is a little tight, but best bet is to disconnect the heater core hoses and put a rag in them to stop the flow of sitting antifreeze. Disconnect the plug on the old blower motor resistor and replace the new resistor. The plugs fry up, so be careful when removing them. The plastic breaks easily.

Be sure to disconnect the negative battery cable before attempting this procedure.

How do you install a block heater in a 1996 Ford E150?

Drain all coolant. Locate the freeze plug nearest to starter; round indent metal piece between exhaust manifold & oil pan on side of block. Remove freeze plug (there are different ways to do this);

1. drill hole, put 1 size larger screw in & yank out with dent puller

2. drill hole, put screw driver in & pry it out

3. hammer/chisel it out

4. pound it into block and retrieve with plyers by turning 90 deg (some do this, but i dont recommend)

Then you insert the heater element and tighten with a wrench. Then you plug power cord into it & run cord to front of vehicle. Use zip/cable ties to secure power cord in several spots. Do no wrap power cord around suspension parts that will move & pull on cord. Its not really hard, just time consuming.
