You might need to programming the remote. Their should be instructions in the users manual. You're remote could also be need new batteries.

I would suggest you get a Haynes repair manual. Number is 64200. It is the same as a Mercury Villager.

You need to rent or buy a fan clutch removal tool kit. you need to remove the fan and clutch as one before you can separate the fan from the clutch.

It was 175. 165 for the 5.7 350.

If you can get to the starter, you hook up one side of the switch to the terminal that goes to the battery and the other side of the switch to the small terminal marked with and "S". "S" is for starter. The other small terminal you leave alone. Applying power to this terminal will damage the starter.

The intertia switch is located on the drivers side of the firewall to the left above the brake pedal. Pull up the red button, gently. Don't forget to push it back down after you are finished working on the fuel system.

No F is ford type fluid.

A quality 1000 watt Inverter could be expected to require about 84 amps at 12V. If we figure that the charging system is going to be operating at about 13.8V this figure could drop to about 75 amps (considering conversion inefficiencies). If we then consider that the truck electrical system will require some current just to keep the truck running, say 25 amps, then we'll need an electrical budget of at least 100 amps. So if you plan to use your inverter for a continuous application then you'll need a 100 amp alternator otherwise you'll slowly discharge your battery. If for example you had a smaller 75 amp alternator then you would be draining the difference (25 amps in this case), from your battery. Since most quality automotive starting batteries have an RC (Reserve Capacity), of less than 120 minutes at a 25 amp draw you'd drain your battery in less than 2 hours. Keep in mind that nearly all alternators do not provide full rated amperage at idle. A 100 amp alternator is likely to be pumping out only 75 amps at idle. For a continuous use inverter application I'd play it safe and install at least a 120 amp alternator minimum.

The problem is almost definitely your neutral safety switch. When you jump the solenoid you are bypassing it.

I also have a 1992 Ford e-150 conversion van and it has a 35 gallon tank

so I am guessing your tank is also a 35 gallon tank.

Depends on what year. Check the shape of the fuse box to see if it is a either a rectangle box, a square with a circular fuse in one corner, or a square box with one of the corners cut of at an angle. The diagram can be found with an internet search.

The VSS is located on the transmission tailshaft extension housing

In order to change the cabin air filter, you just take out the old filter that is under your dash and put in the new one. The filter helps to filter outside air.

Factory Spec is 5x20 but if the van has a lot of miles then put in 5x30.

This year of vehicle has a mechanical fuel pump bolted to the side of the engine. Follow the fuel line.

There is a little spring that is attached to the indicator pointer that keeps tension on it. That spring may have fallen off. I'm having the same problem on my 1996 Ford Club Wagon. Good Luck.

You sure it is the gauge that is broke? I bet it is the sending unit.

You have to drop the fuel tank, which is quite a project, and then 'unscrew' the fuel sender unit. The sender is held in place by a lock-ring that must be gently hammered loose in a counter-clockwise direction. You can then pull the fuel sender unit out of the tank and replace the fuel pump. The difficult part of this whole process is dropping the fuel tank. Search for "drop suburban fuel tank" for instructions on how to do that.

First and foremost, always disconnect the battery before working on electrical components. I'm assuming since this is a later model that the heater core is in the cab behind the glove box. Let the engine cool down before doing anything. Once it is cool, drain the coolant into an approved container. Under the hood you need to remove the heater hoses from the core. Get in the cab and take out your glove box. There are 6-8 screws holding the attaching the core to the plenum. Remove them. Unhook the vacuum source, but make sure you leave it attached to the case. It looks like a cable with a little triangle shaped plug on the end of it, I think. Anyway, leave the vacuum harness attached to the cover so it doesn't become hard to find. Remove the cover and then take the core out of the chamber. When you go to put the new one in, just do what you did to take the old one out backwards. Check it for leaks and be sure to put coolant back in the radiator. If you have an underhood mounted heater core, I know how to do that one too, but that will take much longer. I wanted to try the shorter one first.
