The 4.0 L - SOHC - V6 engine has 3 timing chains a main timing chain at the front of the engine going from the crankshaft to what is called the jackshaft ( the jackshaft is in the same location as the camshaft on the 4.0 L - OHV - V6 engine ) a 2nd chain from the jackshaft to the drivers side cylinder head ( at the front of the engine ) and a 3rd chain from the jackshaft to the passenger side cylinder head ( at the rear of the engine ) if this is the 5.0 L - V8 engine - there is 1 timing chain at the front of the engine

"No heat" is pretty generic. If you have no fan then the problem is electrical. If you have no heat then the problem is in the engine cooling system. If you have heat but can't move it (it only comes out the vents or defroster, etc) then the problem is in the ducting under the dashboard.

We'll talk about heat. The temperature slider inside the truck is connected by a stiff wire to a valve under the hood. The valve opens and closes to let hot water from the motor into the heater core (a small version of the radiator) inside the truck. The fan blows air through the heater core and in to the air vents under the dash. If you get hot air anywhere, the heater core and hoses are working.

If you have no heat it could be as simple as the coolant (water/anti-freeze) level is too low to fill the heater core, or the hoses to the heater core (one goes in and one goes out) could be blocked.

Some other options are bad valve, bad control head or wire, bad thermostat (you would see that your engine temp isn't right), or the heater core is disconnected.

The fuse panel located under the hood, called the battery junction box, fuse position #6 which is a 15 amp fuse.

well,theres alot of versoins of a tune up to a machanic, mine is to change your spark plugs and spark plug wires, change your pcv valve, change your fuel filter,and change your air filter.

Ok then,I have a 2006 f-150 super crew 4x4. At 70,000 klm i have vaulve noise,whats up with that. Ok heres my question,are they ajustable or what would the resolve be and at what cost.

If I remember correctly , in my 1991 5.0 L - LX , it was in the trunk area , just on the other side of the taillight area , covered by an oval shaped rubber plug

yes you can you will have to use an line out converter or l.o.c. it converts high level signal into low level signal so you can have rca inputs for the amp

Do you have a Duratec V6? If you do it's called "moosing". It can be fixed by replacing the idle air control valve. It's nothing serious, just loud and embarrassing.
