Your glow plugs are not heating up. You may have bad glow plugs or relay. try turning on the key ( this should start the warming of the plugs and a light on the dash will come on letting you know it is ok to start if not the relay is bad) if no luck turn off the key and let it cycle again. if it is still difficult to start you may need new glow plugs.

with the vaccum pipe disconnected you should have 2.8bar (+-0.2) of fuel pressure in your rail, when you reconnect the vacuum pipe the pressure will decrease as they using a rising rate fuel pressure regulator which is controlled by the manifold vacuum,

If you are replacing the air bag, then this means it deployed. This also means that as soon as you connect a new one it may or may not deploy prematurly. This could be a very dangerous repair. Take it to a professional and have them install it.

Take a look at the rear shoes and see how the adjusters work.... clean the adjusters and ensure everything is operating as it should. Apply a small amount of high melting point grease to the adjusters. Re-assemble the brakes and pump the brake pedal to engage the adjusting mechanism. That's it!! have fun.

First it depends which model year you are asking about. If it is the X300 that is 1995-1997 here are the instructions.

Open the boot lid and drivers door, and switch on the ignition. Rock the valet switch, in the centre console, 5 times. The system will chirp to indicate it has entered learning mode.

On models with seat/mirror/steering wheel memory functions, the first remote will be linked to memory 1, second to memory 2 etc.

Press the larger, lock, button of the remote. The system will chirp to confirm it has got the signal. If it doesn't receive any signals for 15 seconds, it will chirp twice and exit learn mode.

To programme further remotes, rock the valet switch once. The system will chirp twice for remote number two, three times for number three etc, then press the lock button of the remote as above.

When finish, wait 15 seconds for the system to time out and chirp twice, turn off the ignition, close the doors and boot lid and the job is done!

It is just below the Alternator. If you have air con it makes for very tricky removal.

The best way is to take it to you local garage and let them do it, trust me ive had no end of problems on my 2000 year Fiesta Eco. Fiesta's have a very nice clever way of making you go to Ford for all simple problems in this i mean the Filter which is hidden behind the Engine and quite out of reach. The oil drain plug has a "special Ford" size so that non of us can ever get it off oh and if you do try then you'll shred it or damage it and need to go to the garage for them to remove and replace it..... Good old Ford, you think changing the oil is a challenge the just try and change the simple light bulbs at the front without building out half of the engine.

To adjust the beam horizontally (aim it left or right), first equip yourself with a star screwdriver with a longish shaft. Open the bonnet, and look just behind the headlight cluster for a hole in the metalwork through which you can slip the screwdriver shaft to engage a screwhead on the headlight cluster itself. Turning the screw clockwise aims the light further to the right, while turning it anticlockwise aims the light further to the left.
