If The Probe Is an automatic then your car has CD4E Tranny in it. The pan for these trannys are on the front side of the transmission. They are not underneath it. Hope this helps.

Remove the thermostat. Remove the lower radiator hose. Remove the upper radiator hose, connect it to a garden hose. Close the heating for the air inside the car and shift it fully to cold. Start flushing with warm (preferrably) water for approx 5 minutes, then open the heating for the air inside the car for full heat and flush another 5 minutes or until you see that the water is clear.

Check the left front fender apron it's stuck between the engine and inner fender apron and it's tough to undo the bottom hose . Hey Robin==It is in the fuel line. Get under it and trace the line from the tank to the engine and you will find it. Sometimes special tools are required to release the connectors on the filter. How do you remove the back seat to get to the fuel pump on a 91 probe?
Very easy once you know how to do it. Take a flat screw driver and slide it under the front of the rear seat at about 1/4 of the way across the seat. There is a clip the that you can push in and lift that side of the seat up. Then go about 3/4 of the way across the seat and do the same. There are only 2 clips that hold the seat in. the last person to answer this queston is a jerk...it depends on what fuse. there are main engine fuses under the hood that could prevent the car from starting...these are the ones that dont look like fuses you can buy at walmart...they are quite large and high amperage.

The catalytic converter is not an option on cars, it's put there by the gov't. The only way you can remove it legally is if you are not operating it on a US highway.

If you have the v6 it is right behind the distributer. You will see a hose comming up from the bottom of the radiator on the drivers side, under the distributer where it hooks to a metal pipe. That pipe goes into your thermostat housing.

I found out you don't have to relieve the pressure to replace the fuel filter. Only small amounts of fuel stay in the old filter, so when removing it, place in a plastic bag or other container. Mission accomplished. To relieve the fuel pressure all you have to do is remove the gas cap.

open the trunk and take the black plastic cover off from the top of the tail light (it just pulls of) undo the one screw on the top and then slide the hole tail light to the outside of the car and the clips should all slide out.
Give me more info and i can get better answer, mine stalled but i just rev the engine a few times and than it worked fine.
And make sure that if its a standard that you have it out of gear when you release the clutch, and if its not that than check your throttle positioning sensor, just get me more info and ill get you a better answer
