What is fuel consumption on Mazda 6?

I've had a V6, 2005 model year Mazda 6 sport wagon (storm blue, if that matters) for about 2 and a half years. I've kept every single gasoline receipt, and monitor my mpg religiously, so this should be as accurate is it gets:

I drive highway 75% and city 25% of the time, semi-aggressively: left-lane-no-one-passes-me t,ype of driver commuting to/from work but otherwise going with the flow. My overall mileage for a tank hovers around 22-24 mpg. I've had highway trips that got me over 28 mpg, and entire weeks jumping around NYC that put me at just under 20 mpg.

There is hardly 1.5 to 2.0% loss in induction melting of steel but even it can be also avoided with the help of covering of crucibles. just open it at the time of charging only is the best practise to avoid oxidation & heat losses for Induction melting for steel.

Why did the Germans put the Jews in the gas furnace?

How do you energize a furnace relay?

BY applying a voltage to the relay's coil connections. Could be DC or AC at a specific voltage. If it's DC, watch the polarity. If it's AC, polarity doesn't matter. HOWEVER, VOLTAGE DOES MATTER, so don't go applying 120 VAC to a relay when it needs only 16 VAC, and DON"T APPLY AC to a DC relay. Could burn up quite nicely if you're not careful.

Do you save money by turning down the heat from 72 to 69?

oooooooooh yes, get a sweater and turn it down to 65 like mine it is so nice. Males like it cold and females like it warm. do u know why?...TOUGH LOVE LARRY

===================

Scooter, your response is emotional and impressionistic. The facts you are referring to are "Temperature Differentials"

If the temperature outside is 10 F and you have your thermostat set at 70 F, your furnace is overcoming a temperature differential of 60 degrees, right? If you dial down to 68, you have changed the differential by 2 F or 1/30th. If you gas bill is $150.00/monthly, you save 1/30th or $5.00. If you subtract the time you are at work and sleeping and only crank the heat up during the time you are around the house and the savings are reduced even more. I don't feel that it is a good purchase to be cold in my own home all month, (30 days of shivering) to save $5.00 or $3.00. I think it is misleading to project that their is big savings to be had by dialing down and selling out your own personal comfort without analyzing and quantifying those savings. Sooooooo, crank it up and be comfortable. Who are you saving it for?

If you want to hit the jackpot of heat energy savings, spend a few dollars taking care of the 500lb Gorilla of heat loss, air infiltration! Tiny gaps around windows, doors, foundations, electrical outlets, bath fans and heat ducts, just to name a few, can keep the heat you are paying for where it needs to be.

Would you like to talk about how much you could save with improved insulation and geo-thermal heat systems? This is where the real money is at! Send me a note.

How much oil should a home furnace use per month?

The usage of fuel oil in a home furnace will depend on the settings and the time over which it was operated. And these things usually depend on how cold it is outside. Variables make a specific answer more difficult There are a number of very helpful people at energy companies who are designated as "consultants" by their firms, and it's their job to help with all manner of questions regarding energy (fuel) use and how to make things more efficient. Anyone who uses energy pays for this service when buying (paying for) the energy. Looked at another way, the service is prepaid, and is free to the consumer. Take advantage of it. Your fuel supplier's energy consultant is just a phone call away.

Can home heating oil be substituted for kerosene in a kerosene heater if your furnace isn't working?

No way hosea!

Is it possible if you have the right setup. It all depends on what type of furnace you are using

Not without causing further problems - in mobile home furnaces especially. Using heating oil in a smaller system can result in clogged nozzles and filters causing the system to malfuntion or even worse OVERHEAT causing fire danger. Also straight kerosene won't gel in colder temperatures like heating oil will

What is the fuel consumption for a 1984 Mercedes G230?

How do you bleed a newmac furnace?

There is a small nipple located on the bottom of the burner itself. This nipple has a hex edge to it so you can use a small wrench (I think its a 1/4 inch) to open it. Turn it counterclockwise a few turns, then turn the thermostat up till the burner turns on. Make sure you have a bucket to catch the oil. The oil comes out of the nipple. At first its frothy then once it becomes pure close the nipple fully.

What is fuel consumption for 2006 Commodore vz v6?

with 55 percent of open road driving, 40 percent city driving, and 5 percent stop start. I have been able to regularly achieve 8.8 ltr to the 100 km. On long trips of 500 km or more I have had it running at 7.8 ltr to the 100 km at 100 km per hour on cruise control.

How do you check the lining in an oil furnace combustion chamber?

Depending on the set up....

well simply unscrew all the bolts surrounding the burner itself(obviously

depending on set up) you do not need to take the burner out if you are careful. remove this plate in my case it is cast iron and secured by five bolts.

After removing it you will notice what looks very much like foam. this is incredibly fragile if you notice parts that are uncovered by this material or cracks you need to replace the lining. The combustion chamber is the lower chamber where the burner is inserted. If this helps...well great.
