where is the fuse for the cigarette lighter

on my 2003 chevy truck driver seat quit moving...so down to the left of steering on firewall, ther is a black box, unscrew black plactic nut and work cover off, on bottom just off center there are two silver overload fuses, i pulled the one on the left out and pluged it back in after i went and got a drink and plugged it back in and presto....seats went to working back and forth, up and down with all the rest.

the cogs on the gear may be worn from abuse or just wear and tear. since first gear is used for pulling and other types of recreation you also may check the clutch plate in the tranny and clutch.

It is probably the output amplifier chip.

Someone else had informed me that this light also comes on if the brake fluid is low. I added fluid to my '97 T-100 and it solved the problem.

I have a 97 T-100 with the same problem. While I can't tell you for certain what is causing the problem, I suspect the switch also, and will be replacing it soon. The switch is located under the dash near the firewall, where the tip of the parking brake rod connects with it. To test whether your problem is merely an adjustment issue, pull the parking brake, then reach the switch and depress the button on top. If the light goes off, it just needs adjustment. If not, it is probably the switch. To further check, disconnect the wiring harness connection and run a jumper wire between the two posts of the connector. If the light goes out, replace the switch.

this could be caused by just a loose wire touching and making a connection or it could be a small short due to some other reason

The heavy duty has 240 HP @ 3800 RPMs. STRIGHT OUT OF THE BOOK.

The basic 350 has around 170 hp.

window regulators are junk in these vehicles - check for bad regulator cables regulators about 250-300 bucks and 1.0 to 1.5 hours of labor

I had the same problem but it is really not a big deal . T went to my dealers and they said that it was just a drive belt ratating . Just oil evey belt once and a while and you should be fine . If that does not work , contact your dealer .

simple a hydro boost system,will be plumbed to the power steering unit .... it receives turning force from hydraulic power.... a vacuum boost simply gets power from the intake manifold. most hydro type systems found on 4x4 and commercial grade vehicles

1.Buy a new/used hypertech programmer...2.find the speed sensor wire and put a switch in it.(this will throw a code,but at 100+ mph who cares)...or just turn the hazards on. (now your running 100+ with 4-ways flashing, that ought to draw attention..lol)

There is a plug underneath the passenger side seat, if you unplug this the sound will stop but also the airbag will stop working, and a light saying so will appear in front of the driver, balance your annoyance
