your fuel pump will be going out within a couple months. have recently had this happen to my truck 1999 gmc sonoma . mine did that at first then it was constantly whining and then it quit working all together.
Why would the serpentine belt on a 2001 Tahoe squeal?
Incorrect tension, or contamination. A bad bearing in the alternator, A/C compressor, etc will cause excessive stress on the belt, and it will squeal as is slides over the stiff parts. Also, serpentine belts are very sensitive to grease or oil. DO NOT use traditional V-belt dressing on a serpentine belt. The least it will do is squeal. At worst, it will pop off while the engine is running and you're under the hood looking at something. They have quite the bite when they let go.

I believe it is part of an assembly that is located on passenger side of vehicle between the front fender and wheel well liner. You can see a hole in inner fender well with wires leading into it. I had my ac serviced and they replaced the relay in that location.

No "default". The system can remember up to three different settings that include the driver's seat position and exterior/side mirrors, selectable with the memory switch on the driver's side door. Select the third setting by pushing the 1 and 2 buttons simultaneously. These settings also correspond to each one of the three max. remote controls that can be programmed into the system (i.e., the car distinguishes each one). Lincoln only gives you two remotes with the two sets of keys, buy you can purchase a third. To establish a setting, adjust the seat and mirrors as desired, push the Set button on the memory switch (light should go on) and then press the appropiate number button. Select setting #3 by pushing the 1 and 2 buttons simultaneously. Settings are lost and must be redone every time you disconnect the battery. Answer #2 To keep it simple, the remotes when activated are assigned a number i.e. #1 or #2 which ever one you wind up with #1 or #2 will save your personal setting. #1 remote is the #1 setting on the door #2 remote is #2 setting on the door. If you get them mixed up after programming them, say in my case my wife at some point switches remotes with me [ for what ever reason ] the setting follows the remote not the person. So now when I use the remote to open our doors the settings change to the settings my wife set for her remote & visa versa. Either swap the remotes back or reprogram the settings to match the remote you are in possession of. If you only have one remote and the remote turns out to be the #2 remote and you set all the settings and save it to the #1 setting on the door . . . . all your settings will change everytime you use your remote to open the doors. if you only have the #2 remote you must save your settings to the #2 position. drl
How is the ignition module? PO300 is a multiple misfire code. It can have many different causes. Coil being one of them. The 4.3 motor that you probably have is susceptible to the (sometinmes called: octapus or spider) fuel injection unit that set on top on the engine. I believe there was also a poppit valve problem on them. Do rule out basics like spark plug or ignition wire or poor connection at the coil from corrosion. you have to reset the computer and see if it still comes on then check the injectors

Remove wheel, you'll see a large bolt protruding through the frame mount. Remove the nut, washer and grommet.
Proceed to the lower control arm, locate and remove the two nuts and slide the shock out.

first of all you'll need 2 people a crow bar,rachet set and a wrench. well you'll need to take a crow bar and put it in between the tensor pulley to get the pressure off the belt and take that off, then just take the 3 or so bolts and wires off the back and replace with a new one. just make sure to get your wires back where and how they were. then to get the belt back on your going to have to have your other person put the belt on while you are getting the tensor and its ussually a tuff one.
