Where is fuelpump on 1992 Honda Accord?

Inside of the gas tank. The only way to get to it is by removing the tank from the car.

You will find that inside the trunk underneath the carpet there will be a cap you can remove, this is not the fuel pump, I promise you. It is the float for the gas meter. I don't recommend removing this, I did and it resulted in a strong smell of gas every time I fill up.

Does shifting to neutral at stoplights affect the long term health of automatic transmission engines?

It shortens the life of your transmission by shifting in and out of gear to get the longest life you would leave it in drive at all times every time you shift in and out of gear you are putting pressure on the plates when going back in gear causing wear and tear also make shure you are completely stopped when going from forward to reverse for the best tranny life

I disagree. Long periods of idling while in gear & holding the brake, such as stop lights, trains etc. generates a LOT of excess heat, which is a Trannys worst enemy. Shifting into Neutral then back into gear is not all that hard on Trannys.

I don't believe the Engine is affected in either case.

How do you swap engines in a 1990 Chevy C2500 from a 4.3 to a LT1?

VERY tough LT1 was never offered in that truck so you have to use "trail and error" to find motor mounts, radiator, hoses, computer and wiring harness to make it run plus the V6 transmission wont hold up to the power of this V8 A better option is to buy all the parts from a wrecked 88'-'95 pickup or SUV and transplant everything This way you'll have a V8 and wont have to swap the dash, guages, and updated computer controls If you want a newer engine like the Vortec '96-'98, You'll need the whole wrecked truck and swap the guages, DLC(OBDII scanner connecter) the dash and wiring, electronic transmission, and ABS module and sensors, including the rear axle for the traction control/ABS Like I said VERY tough Stick with the '88-'95 and you'll buy replacement parts for a '90 with a V8

What does the check engine light mean in a 1996 Honda Accord?

light means ther is a sensor gone bad what you got to do is there is an on board diegnostic on the passenger side lower floor panel there is a blue clip turn every thing off and install a jumper wire then turn key till the check engine light comes on again and count the times it blinks 1 long blink and the how ever manny short blinks mean two digit code like 16 or like thatthen ask a parts store for the code meanings Pull the codes from the computer, match the code to the troubleshooting procedure, follow the procedure to find the source. Repair the source, light will go out if that was the only problem. There are "monitors" or self test the computer runs the car through, if a problem occurs, it may not run all of the self tests until that problem is taken care. Therefore, another problem may exist. It is emission related.

How do you change the speakers and Factory stereo in a 1993 Honda Civic LX 4 Door?

when u change the radio their are bolts under the dash that u have to take off in order to get the radio out, remove all then pull on the dash and it pops right off. the speakers just unscrew and replace with the new ones. You don't need to cut the wires at all, I just got mine installed in 5 minutes with the adapter speaker plug, I got them from Amazon for 16 bucks but you save a lot of time and you don't mess the wire system of your car with the black tape and stuff.

How do you change the fast idle sensor valve on a 1991 Honda Accord EX?

well the fast idle thermo valve ,is on the top of the motor right on the intake manifold,it has two screws on the top, let engine warm up , take the screws out. put finger over and gently push ,with engine running. If no air flow replace valve,or unscrew the plastic top of valve, and with sand paper placed face up on a flat surface sand down bottom of valve. This will let the heat reactive part of the valve shut of sooner blocking the excess air from entering the intake manifold and raising idle.
