i disable mine by leaving the key in the ignition in the on position without turning the car on for 30 min. doing this disables it for me but if u ever remove the battery or it goes flat u will have to do this again as it resets when the battery is reconnected / replaced.

There are engines with both. If the car is a twin cam then it's a double overhead cam. Single cam has less power but is more economical.

You will to give more info engine size and Vin letter different engines require on specs. your best bet is to by a auto repair book at used book store are call auto parts store should be albe to tell you. Will need info of car engine, trans, a/c etc.

This is most likely the reverse light switch which is positioned ontop of the gearbox. I do not know how much they are for a brand new one, but i got one second hand from my local wreckers for $30. Hope this helps...Ty,you are 100% correct,,problem solved.

To remove the alternator, remove the top bolt that tensions the belt. Remove the wiring. One is a plug and the other is with a nut. The last thing is to undo the bottom nut from the side closest to the exhaust under the alternator. This bolt has to be totally removed by pulling it out from the belt side. The alternetor will then lift out. After you have done this once you should be able to change one in about half an hour maximum.

I can't tell you exactly, but generally the IAT sensor is located on or near the air filter box. On some newer cars it's actually incorperated into the mass air flow sensor.

Replace the axle most are lifetime guaranteed and everything is new. taking apart a boot and joint are a pain. Replacing the axle may be a little more money but WAY BETTER in the long run.

hi, ok pretty sinple if its the front the hardest part is the window winder, if its not electric, there is a small pin behind the washer looking part you need 2 flat head screwdrivers because each end of the pin is out to hold it in place. lift the pin upwards until it clicks and the whole thing should come off. next the black panel that has your window turners on it has screws unscrew that and the it has a sort of plug just pull it out( mine snapped so be careful) the just unscrew all the screws from there on. the inner door handle itself is slipped inpace so unscrew that and disconnect the arm that opens the door when triggered from outside, push the whole door handle after that to the left and it should unclip. after that just release the clip[s holding the panel on. good luck.

Are you assuming that your overdrive is not working? I have same problem, no indicator on dashboard to say overdrive is on or off and revs about 5000rpm at 70mph so I know overdrive is the problem. I will try to run a live feed to the one of the wires going to the overdrive switch. Does anyone know where fuse for O/D is??? Also clock flickers and interior ligh doesn't work if it's related????

The orifice tube comes after the compressor for the AC and before the pipe goes into the dash. Look for a screw-apart junction in the metal AC line. Look for crimping on the pipe that is right next to that junction. That crimping keeps the orifice tube from sliding down the pipe. The orifice tube is about the size of a cigarette and acts like a filter and a spray opening to atomize the freon. You may be able to clean the old one, but a new one is pretty cheap. Make sure you get the right one, take the old one with you. Everyone will tell you that you have to change the dryer too, and need to pull a vacuum on the system. Those are good ideas but it will work okay just cleaning the orifice tube if it is clogged. One can of freon should get the compressor going. Get the stuff with the stop leak and oil.

Gently pry up on the speaker cover with a small screwdriver or knife. There are screws under the cover to remove the speaker, unplug harness and its free.

Probably need to check the crank sensor (if the check engine light is on) or the fuel pump... I had that problem not too long ago...

if you replace the water pump also plan on replacing the timing belt and tensioner. they are all part of the same assmebly and can't be done seperately.

HI the tensioner is mounted with 2 bolts..you must be careful not to strip them..remove them, then the big spring..that holds the tensioner..it is under pressure so be careful..when putting spring back ON, you must pry it OVER the bottom tab on engine block...use crow bar or large flat screwdriver to do so..The right hand bolt is a PIVOt that slides..the left hand bolt fixes the tension on the tensioner..the tensioner slides up and down on the right hand tensioner bolt to adjust the tension on the timing belt..its hard to explain w/o a diagram..good luck

you need to first take off the interior side of the car door so you can get to the bolts that are holding the handle in place. there are two - one on either side of the handle and they can be difficult to remove. you need to make sure that you also pull out the key barrell from the old door handle by taking off the u clip holding it in place and there is also the connection wire from the interior handle to the exterior door handle that needs to be removed also. to put the new handle in remember to connect the wire for the interior handle and the key barrell then you can bolt the handle back in place.

on my 1994 hyundai excel 4 d00r sedan the fuel float is located inside the tank,,,however it can be reach from the trunk,removing a safety plate to the right inside the trunk ,then 3 screws holds the complete assembly,,,about the fuel pump itself it is definetley inside the gas tank,and you must drop the tank ,to get to the top of the tank plate,,,,you will see the fuel pump wiring going inside the tank.....
