Can a CDL license be suspended after two moving violations within a two year period in Illinois?

Your CDL license can be suspended for two serious CDL violations within three years in any state although the requirements do vary. In some states it doesn't matter whether you receive them in your personal vehicle or in your truck and in others it does. However, I have found that they have no way to track so your CDL license is suspended anyway. You may be able to retain a CDL attorney and he may be able to get one of the speeding tickets reopended and reduced to where they will rescind the suspension. However, most companies will terminate you anyway and no one else will likely hire you.

In Illinois what is the sales tax on motorcycles?

In the state of Illinois, tax on motorcycles or ATVs that cost less than $15,000 is $25, per Illinois Department of Revenue document "STS-76/RUT-50 Vehicle Use Tax Chart for 2008"

I am not sure that is 100% accurate...I believe that only applies to a used bike....when I bought a brand new scooter last year, I was forced to pay the standard sales tax rate for my address on the title and registration I was requesting....but any used motorcycle (or car more than 11 years old) is only $25 tax.

"RUT-50 Private Party Vehicle Tax Chart for 2009" effective Jan 1, 2009 states...

"If the purchase is a motorcycle, motor-driven cycle, 3- or 4 -wheel all-terrain vehicle (ATV), or motorized pedalcycle, the tax due is $25."

this is for a private-party sale -- you buy it from a person rather than a dealer.

How can you get into the University of Illinois?

As a proud honors graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, I recommend that you visit their website (uiuc.edu). They should be able to provide entrance requirements. Each college within the university has their own requirements, and they only seem to become more diffcult as years go by. I do know they want well-rounded students. They want high gpa's and SAT/ACT scores, but they don't want students who only study and have no lives. It is extremely important to participate in extracurricular activities while in high school. It is also not a bad idea to do volunteer work. They want leaders and people who have lives outside of the classroom. Many people apply to the great U. of I. You need to set yourself apart and show how you would be an asset to their campus. (As I recall, they actually asked if I went to high school football games on their applications. I don't know if they still do, but they at least used to ask what else you did in high school besides study!) Be sure not to lie on your application either. Be sure to visit the campus as well, if you haven't done so already. They provide tours of the campus for prospective students. Oh, and if you get in, be sure to climb the Alma Mater in the middle of the night and kiss her cheek. It's supposed to be good luck! Good luck!

Why do records need to be kept within a workplace?

Records are kept in the workplace to document what was done and why, in case a tax issue arrises or a transaction is questioned. If someone wants to sue the business for something, then the business has records that show what was done, by whom, and when. Workplace records also document when maintenance or repairs were done, to help people remember when they may be needed next. And all of these records can help when the person who did the work moves to another town and someone else has to figure out what needs doing and how it used to be done.
