This causes the nylon gear to gets its teeth cut smooth from the steel worm gear inside the transmission. Either of these parts can be replaced in 10 or 15 minutes without jacking the vehicle up. Basic tools, minimal brain power and basic skills are all that is required.

Flasher location for 1995 Isuzu Rodeo 3.2 V6?
I have a 1994 Rodeo, 4WD, 5 SPD, V-6 3.2 engine and I just replaced my flasher on August 2, 2007. Hopefully, your 1995 is the same! The hazard/turn signal flasher (#E34 black rectangular unit at AutoZone or Pep Boys) is mounted BEHIND the left front speaker. I removed the 4 or 5 screws that held the left side of my lower dash to the dashboard. Then, I removed my LEFT SIDE speaker (driver's side) and with a flashlight was able to see the black hazard/signal unit. The hardest part was actually getting my fingers in there to pull it out. My 1994 Rodeo still had the original unit which is held in place by two tiny locking nubs, one on top and one on the bottom. I finally ended up breaking one of the little nubs to remove the unit! (It DOES NOT MATTER since the replacement unit has no nubs and simply slides straight in.) You MUST be patient and careful since the location is a real challenge! By the way, the parts counter person told me I had separate flashers for the hazard and the turn-signal. WRONG! There is only one unit which controls both actions! (The catalog lists both an #E12 yellow round unit AND the #E34 black rectangular unit. The #E12 did NOT fit my vehicle!) Good luck!

Is there fuel to the fuel rail? Take the fuel line apart and turn the key to run. You should have fuel all over the place. If not, it's either the pump or the filter.
The above is not the correct way to determine if the fuel pump is bad and want to note that opening any fuel system (especially gasoline) in the noted above manner is extremely dangerous and could cause injury or death. Never open fuel systems unless you know and understand what you are doing to it. Never open any fuel system and let it "get all over the place". Always make sure fuel is being contained in a safe manner. Using the correct adaptors at the fuel rail is essential for safe fuel pressure checks and tests. They can be purchased at any auto parts store and is a must for safe testing of fuel systems.
The correct way to check fuel pressure is to use a fuel gauge with the correct adaptor to be screwed into the fuel test port on the vehicles fuel rail. Doing so fuel leakage is at a minimum and the potential of starting a fire is slim to none IF the correct components are being used. On an Isuzu NPR you will want to see around 45-55 psi of pressure. How do you replace the ac BELT IN 1994 Isuzu tRooper?
Assuming you have the 3.2 L V6 motor; locate the ac pump on lower driver's side of the motor and the appropriate belt. The belt has a tensioner between the crankshaft and the ac pump and one must loosen the large nut ( 24 mm I believe ) that attaches to the pulley. Once you have loosened the nut the tension on the ac belt will be released and you can guide it around the fan and remove it. Get the new belt over the fan and onto the correct crankshaft pulley and over the ac pump pulley. Then put the nut back on the tensioner pulley but don't tighten it yet. Use a crow bar or the claw side of a claw hammer to get a hold on the bolt head that sticks straight up from the tension and pull it up. Tighten the large nut while applying tension to the belt in this manner. If you make the belt too tight you may cause wear on the ac pump clutch, so get it tight but don't use your Herculean stength to do it. New belts will often stretch after a short time of use so it isn't a bad idea to check the belt after a couple of days of driving and retighten it if necessary.

It is a must that you use a silicone-based fluid such as Isuzu SCS Automatic Transmission Fluid -- Isuzu part # 2-90531-200-0. If you don't use the proper fluid, it will burn up your transmission in a matter of a day. You cannot use regular automatic transmission fluid or a petroleum based fluid like Dexron in the NQR or NPR trucks built after late 2007.This fluid is not expensive at all, it costs about the same as Dexron.
