As the original poster I would like to say thank you to the answerer who responded in a variation of this question. @8^) If you look under the plastic lever you will see a copper colored bar that runs parallel to the handle insert a small flat bladed screwdriver and gently push the bar towards the dash when you do that the door will open. There are two Phillips screws holding the latch mechanism the best way to unscrew them is to either use a stubby screwdriver or a 1/4" ratchet with a socket to fit a screwdriver bit. The new part can be ordered for about fifteen dollars at the local dealer.

The easiest way to replace the radiator is to first drain it. The drain plug is located on the bottom left hand corner of the radiator. when you are facing the car. Next remove the fanz should be 2 if you have ac. To access the bolts easily remove the intake. Should be 10mm screws. The harnesses for the fans are located near the headlights respectively. Right fan near right headlight. HEres the tricky part if you want the work to go buy extremely fast you should remove the bumper skirt and bumper. Then you remove the front support beam that will hold the latch to the hood, the horn is attached to it. Once that's done disconnect the remaing hoses and remove. IF you don't want to take the bumper off just remove all hoses and the fans like stated above. anpull out radiator you will have to play with it a little but it will slide out. Its a fairly simple job.

it will depend on the miles on the engine. So in theory : NEW : 160 200,000 miles probably 130 to 145 range. mainly what you don't wnat to see is this sinerio: cyl #1 135 cyl #2 115 cyl #3 60 cyl #4 110 this would mean possible leaking head gasket, or if cyl #3 shows 0 then 2 bad valves on cyl #3.hope this helps.

MAKE sure that is the problem.If heater is blowing cold air,reach on passenger side,under dash,and find the heater blower,and gently pull the white plastic piece to make sure it is not stuck on cold.They go from hot to cold easily but not back to heat.

They are usually located either behind the dash on the passenger side or under the passenger seat. Best bet is just call a dealership and ask someone in the service dept before you go pulling the car apart

More than likely DOT3. The correct fluid is listed in your owner's manual and on the top of the master cylinder cap.

In most vehicles you disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the belt that drives the alternator, disconnect the wires/plugs attached the alternator, remove mounting bolts and nuts then remove the alternator. Install in reverse order.

Hey Roseanne==First, jack up the wheel then remove wheel, then the caliper. Then remove the dust cap over the spindle nut. Then remove the spindle nut and pull the fub and rotor off of the spindle. If the races thst are in the hub are scored remove them with a punch and install new ones. Then replace the inner bearing and NEW seal and put on the car and replace the outter bearing and spindle nut. Torque the nut to seat the bearing then back it off until there is slight play in the bearing. Pack the bearings before you install them and don't put excess grease in between the bearings or in the dust cap. GoodluckJoe

You have to remove the left side headlight bulb. With the bulb out, use a hose and funnel to put the starter fluid into the headlight cavity, then put the bulb back in. Be careful not to add too much starter fluid as excess may leak out and is considered to be an environmental hazard.

Buy a split boot from the parts store- that way you won't have to remove the shaft.

As long as you have the half shaft out, why not replace it since there is probably some damage to it from having a damaged boot?

This question is probably easy to answer and can also be hard to answer, depending how you get it done. For example, I'm doin the job myself and I obtained a descent 1.8 engine for about $350.00 from a wrecking yard. They gave a 90 day warranty, so I'm installing it between the hours I come home from work. Labor work is by far very tidious and sometimes hard to acquire. Any other person that is installing the engine has their own price, but luckily for me, I'm doing it myself. If I was doing it for someone else I would probably charge by the hour. Depending how much an hour I would want it for. It might be 9.00,10.00, or more and an hour and like I said it all depends on the mechanic that will be doing the job. So be extra nice when time to get your price! Engine prices come in all sizes and range, so do some hunting around before you buy. And when it's time to buy, make time to carefully check out the engine for any damage. Make sure it's a good engine with less mileages. So good luck and have fun!

When you look at the thermostate there will be a pointed side on top and a round part on the bottom. the round part goes toward the engine and the pointed part goes toeard the radiator

1995 thru 2002 does not have one , 2005+ models have it behind the glove box. The manual shows you (somewhat poorly) how to dislodge the glove compartment.

I checked the Chilton Repair Manual for the 2003 Grand Caravan. According to that book, the fuse for the dash board lights is a self-resetting fuse that must be serviced by the dealer. Its somewhere under the dash, and apparently cannot be replaced or reset by the user. Kind of the same idea as the headlights on the Pacifica.

You can't legally remove a third light. It's considered safety equipment and any safety equipent that the vehicle came with from the factory cannot be legally removed.
