Remove the cover from your 2001 Kia rear speakers. Remove the rear speaker retaining screws. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the speakers. Reverse the process to install the new rear speakers.

You Will Need To Get The Cable From A Dealer. If The Cable Is Burned Into Ect. It Will Need To Be Replaced. If The Cable End Is Bad You Can Try This. Purchase a New Cable End. Yours Probably Has Two Smaller Cables In The Wire Also Besides The Regular One. On The Cable End You Get Also Get One Or Two ( as needed ) Heavy Duty Cable Eyletts That Fit The Bolts That Tighten The Large Cable To The Terminal End. Put The Small Cables On each Side Of The Bolts That Clamp This Down, Tighten It All Down. Should Work OK. I Have Done This Often. If You Do It This Way. You Will Need To Check These Connections Every 3 Months Or So To Be Sure They Are OK.

They are 4" for the front door speaker, and 6.5" for the rear panel speakers. Careful not to buy too deep a replacement speaker, as the space is limited.

You should check the belt. My Sephia was doing the samething and when I looked at the belt...it was worn and needed replacement. If it isn't the belt, the clutch on the compressor could be slipping and may need replacing as well. I would first check the belt..if it looks dry, you can get some belt dressing from any auto store. If the belt looks like it can be replaced I would do so. Hope this helps you. the pumps ceap ouyt on these cars i would take the belt off and call it a day or just cut it off

MY WIFE HAS A 99 KIA SEPHIA. SHE HAS HAD NOTHING BUT BAD LUCK OUT OF IT. ANYWAY THE HEATER MOTOR IS LOCATED UNDER THE DASH,RIGHT BELOW THE GLOVE BOX. I HAVE TO BEAT ON HERS WITH A RUBBER MALLET TO GET IT TO WORK.

oh boy! You and I are in the same boat! lol I have a 2000 Kia Sephia and it is notorious for problems! Check wire harnesses leading to starter, and have mechanic check ignition/spark plugs... especially if it running/idling rough. Had the same problem with the same make and model. I'm not sure exactly what caused the problem but it only happens when the gas tank gets low. If I keep a half a tank of gas I don't have the problem.

When you open door and look down to where your foot pedals are, look to the left and you will see the plastic trim around foot well, you will then see a pull out section of plastic trim, when you remove this panel cover you will find the fuses, on the backside of the plastic cover it will tell you which fuse is for which part of electrics. Loosen of the bleeding nipple, now tighten it back a little. pit a plastic tube over the nipple and hang the end of the tube into a container that has some fluid in it just to stop air from being sucked up it. Loosen of the nipple. Make sure the master is full and gently pump the fluid through, all the time making sure that the master cylinder does not empty. when no more bubbles are coming through the tube fasten the bleeding nipple and the clutch should be working after a couple of more pumps.

First roll the window down. Then take the door panel off of the inside of the door. There should be two or three screws along the bottom of the panel, and one in the grip. You'll also need to remove the window crank if you don't have power windows. Now, once you have all the screws out and the crank off, pull straight up on the door panel, because there are clips at window sill that hold the top of the panel on. When you have the panel completely off, there should be a piece of plastic glued over the inside of the door. That's a moisture barrier. Roll the window back up. Pull the top left of the barrier far enough down to fit your hand up to the handle. There are two nuts on each side of the top of the handle. Remove these. also, you'll need to remove the lock rod and latch rod. there are plastic clips that hold these on. Unclip them from the rod and rotate the clips, and the rod should slide out. Then pull the bottom of the outside of the door handle out, and slide it down a little to allow the studs to clear the holes. You have now removed the door handle.

I cut the stock plug from the 97 sportage and wired an aftermarket stereo with this and it worked great. The wires are a little short but it can be done. Constant 12V+ Wire: Light Green

You'll have to take the dash loos and all the electrical wireing then remove the dash from the vehicle. From there you'll have a brace over the block holding the heater core in place. Remove the brace and screws from the top cover, slide the core out and replace in reverse steps.
