on the lsc its most likely the same with a bill blass mark 7 1988 which i own in perfect shape . but im 18 and its 2009 so the car reallly needed a stereo. that worked ! and so i replaced the regular tape deck with something new but old. a kennwood digitall aduio everything you need i pod hook up / charger / CD storage. store up to 80 hours of music into your car ! lol. anyway to wire up some bad ass sound your going to need to get a ''wiring harness'' they sell them at any autozone or other ''car sound'' shops. just tell them the year. and if it helps do what i did and bring the old radio out of youre car and show the guys because sometimes they get 1988 lincolns confused with god damn towncars !!!

that happened to me but to get there after you buy a wiring harness go out and buy a classy new deck for youre lsc it will really bring your car into the newr age yet still looks classy. plus what ever youre interior color is they have tons of new car stereos that light up certain colors and all kinds of stufff. re doing a vehicle is always good enjoyment

there should be a white/whiteblack,purple/purple black,grn/grnblk, , gray/gray blk - those are all audio. your speakers

and red yellow and black are youre power power control/ on off ! and ground.

Nope sorry it doesn't have a 9" rear... It's an 8.8 integral rear where the 9" has a removable carrier aka: pumpkin... I only wish my 1989 Mark VII had a 9" because it was an still is a bullet proof rear!!! I had to rebuild mine once and it is in need of another rebuild. I wish I had the money to fabricate a 9" into my Lincoln I would have done this a long time ago... They do have housings for the Mustangs of this era but the Lincoln is wider and a little different then the Mustang...

Since you don't give any other information, you should start by making sure that you have electric power. Failing that, you might try checking the settings on your thermostat. You will want to be sure you have it set to cool, not heat the house and that the temperature setting on the thermostat is below the ambient room temperature.

I think the button is on the lower side drivers dash or the emergency one is in the trunk, the side of the filler door look for a wire with a little handle on it and pull. It may have fallen behind the side panel so check that if it's not in plain sight.

The brake booster is in the standard location, but it doesn't look anything like a traditional booster/master cylinder. It's a long two or three piece aluminum unit called the actuater in the shop manual. The plastic brake fluid tank is bolted to the top side of the unit. They're also obsolete and getting very expensive to replace. I have a 1990 Mark Seven and pulled amps and decks out of a few other mark 7s and ended putting in an aftermarket stereo as well as an amp. For the most part we used factory wire harneses with no problems. 400 amps and lots of neighbors...

its not worth messing around with, use the factory power wires, antenna, etc, but run new speaker wires forget the stock amp put it in the circular file

is your brake pedal hard as a rock? make sure you check the power brake pump relay 80 % the relay is bad. its located on drivers left side under hood against fire wall around master cyl make sure you first pick the right rekay second bring it and but it from dealer only if you ask nicley he will print the exact relay to change this car is loaded with relays and are the cause for most of the problems that occur with this model ive had about no bs 7 of these care and never changed a pressure pum just rekays hope it works if it does you will here the pump whine when the key is turned on good luck g

Goto rockauto.com and look up your car, you will see an illustration of what it looks like, but basically its black, has a vacuum tube coming out of the top, shaped like a bell, and has an metal tube coming out of it.

On the V6 it is looked on the passengers side of the engine compartment, towards the front of the engine bay.

i used a half inch six-point socket, and a long (2ft or 2ft) extension. if you have a wobbleend on the extension, it will probably be easier. put the extension through the passonger side off the engine, follow under the header and there is a direct line of sight to the top bolt. you may just have to use several 6" extensions until you can find the fight length to work with

most likely a heater core, unless it only happens when it rains, then maby windshield seal door seal?

Its very difficult and quite involved. All I can tell you is be patient and take your time. A 90 is different than a 89 .Wiring will not match up so be prepared to change that also.

look at the plenum, (he part that says 5.0 HO) and look in the "bottom" left most corner, by the throttle body, you will see a cylindrical piece bolted to the plenum, remove the two bolts, disconnect the electrical connector and make sure you either get a new gasket or be EXTREMELY careful not to damage the existing gasket for reuse. installation is the reverse of removal :)

The Mark VII started using aluminium motors in 1985. They have since used the technology almost exclusively in nearly all of their production models to date.

9 times of out 10 a no spark is due to a failed or malfunctioning Crank Position Sensor locacted by the crank pully, near the AC compressor.

Sometimes you can upplug the sensor and when you plug it back in the car will have spark again. Replacing the sensor does require removal of the AC compressor (due to space limitations) BUT you do not have to disconnect the AC lines.

Simply unbolt the compressor and gently lay it aside, and that will give you the clearance to pull the Crank Sensor from the block. Hope this helps
