Biggest issue is pollution which causes the water to affect the marine life usually killing it and causing a problem in the food chain when certain animals' usual diet has died off, they die off as well or have to look for new food source

WHen animals build there habitat they look for a place with just the right amount of salinity. If they do not find this they fail to reproduce. Therefore in a matter of time some biodiversity will become extinct
