85 psi whit a doble torque you have to torque it one time then lo lose it and then retorque

You need a battery. There's a very small chance it could be something else, but from the symptoms you describe it is more than likely a bad battery.

Mitsubishi didn't really stop making the diamante, but the diamante is a lesser known model made by the Mitsubishi company. The Diamante came out in 89-90 and they have been making them every year since, but many people haven't heard or seen many of them because there aren't really all that many produced. While I don't know if they plan on (and personally i hope they don't) discontinuing this model, I do know that they plan on having new ones out in 2012 and 2013 as well. After that we will just have to wait and see.

block right rear wheel, remove front right wheel, Remove mud shield from right wheel area (2 bolts 2 plastic fasteners), Remove timing belt (see other instructions as this is complex and requires some jacking of the engine removal of top motor mount, covers, alternator, covers, Main Crank pulley, and tensioner pulleys. Care muct be taken to do it right and since you are in there you might as well install a new timing belt, tensioner and guide bearings. Also inspect camshaft seals. (If you don't understand this you probably shouldn't be doing the job.

remove water pump (4 or 5 bolts keeping track of the length of each. Remove old o-ring behind pump, You can then either install a complete pump or take the old pump to the bench, disassemble and install a new impeller/bearing half of the pump. Install new o-ring, pump, timing belt and reinstall the crankshaft sensor being careful to keep the wires in the same place they wer when you took the sensor off, following instructions (usually included with a gates or AC delco belt, to the letter, Install the covers, alternator, motor mount, pulleys, belts mud shield and wheel. The whole job can be done in 2 hours but plan on at least 5 if you have never done it. Also you will need all the torque specs for each bolt and a good torque wrench. The crankshaft pulley bolt torques at 132 ft-lbs Motor mounts at 80 ft lbs and the 14mm bolts around 30ft lbs, 12 mm bolts 18 ft lbs and 10mm at 9 ft lbs.

Depends on what is being done! Typically, with the new computer controlled ignition in cars these days, tuneups are really a CASH maker! Take your car to Autozone or checkers and see if there are any codes stored in the computer. If no codes exist, then if the plugs have never been changed, but a new set an replace them yourself and while you are at it, replace the air filter. Plugs will run you anywhere from $1.99 to $3 a piece and the filter maybe $10-20. Good luck.........

well to replace the heater core the dash, center console, and most of the HVAC system will need to be removed from the car. not to mention the AC system having to be pulled down due to the evaporator needing to be removed. it is a real long job, and you might want to check in a repair manual to give you a good idea of the length of time involved

Disconnect the Negative(black) terminal from the battery for a minute then reconnetc. If this does not work, go to Autozone/Checkers/Pep Boys and plug in their code reader and clear the codes.

probably a bad thermostat. let car run for 10 minutes to see if the thermo opens and you should be able to sqeeze top hose easily.

Trouble code P0107 means: Manifold absolute pressure or barometric pressure circuit low input

i have that in my diamantie as well and weneva i press it a light comes on so im guessing its for heated mirors or sumthing

If it is white smoke, you probably have a blown headgasket as coolant is leaking in the heads ans being vaporized. If it is black smoke, then you have worn rings and oil is leaking into the chamber and is being burnt.

and if its blue it could be the valve steam seals you will need an air compressor a compression tester valve spring removing tool and a little bit of elbow grease

You will need to jack up the front of the car a few inches,8-10.Disconnect the battery!! The starter is on the bottom and just about in the middle of the car about two feet back from the front of the car,mounted at the engine/transmission connection.

To remove the starter simply remove the positive cable from the screw post on the starter coil,remove the plug in connector located right next to it(pull straight out) and remove the two screws from the back of the starter unit,that's it.Installation is the reverse

I have a 1992 and all you do is pop the hood.

Start with drivers side look behind the headlight and you will see 2 black plastic circle caps. Unscrew those and your low and high beam lights are behind them. Pay close attention as to how the bulb is resting in the housing so you wont forget when ot goes back together. There are metal hold down clips.

The passenger side requires the removal of the windshield washer plastic container. 2 10mm bolts right on top. Disconnect the sensor by unplugging it. It is located on the bottom of the reservoir tank. Unhook hose. And then repeat the steps for the driver side. Easy job hope this helps.

There are two ways to know if pads are worn. One is if i u hear a squeaking noise. Two is to look through the rim at pads and if u don't see any padding then need to change them. If u cant tell by looking through the rim then u will have to take the tire and caliper off to get to pads. If pad is more then half way gone or uneven then change them. If pads are uneven also replace the caliper.

The gas cap release for a Mitsubishi Diamante is located in the trunk, on the left side. There is a cable with a handle on it running down from the top left of the trunk, and you'll need to pull it to manually release the gas cap.

Wait one hour, then reset code. Code can be obtained from dealer. Or frome Mitsubishi Forums in the internet.

you must take the entire dash apart for the first gen diamantes at least (92-96)

i tried doing it without and its impossible they way the have it designed..also the first generation is the hardest to locate a heater core for unless you get one from the dealer which is 400 dollars,but that should suffice and i will say this it is at least a 5 hour job the book calls for 8.

a door handle is translated "une poignée / une poignée de porte" in French

Each of the doors have 3 Philips head screws in them.

1 you can see clearly on the inside as you open the door 2 on the inside door handle and 3 inside the arm rest.

Remove them and you can gently pry the internal panel off unclipping the pegs.

Remove electric window and door light connections and you have full access to the speaker. Should be 6.5" in the front.
