If you get into a position where you can look at the entire engine from above you should/will be able to tell where each of the spark-plugs are relative to the front of the engine.

On virtually every internal combustion engine ever made the number 1 plug will always be the one closest to the front ( or fan-belt end ) of the engine (or, to put it another way, farthest from the transmission end of the engine). The rare exceptions to this rule "swap" the ends putting number 1 closest to the rear of the engine, but Misubishi does not do that).

On a V-type engine look at both cylinder banks and you will see that one entire bank is just a bit farther forward than the other. The forward one will have the number 1 cylinder/spark-plug .

Check the fuel filter and the fuel pump pressure. The problem sounds like the fuel pressure is too low to keep the engine running.

it is usually located on a metal bracket,close to the coil.it has a 3 wire plug attached to it.

You have a bad Freewheel hub solenoid. This is a twin solenoids mounted on a metal base with rubber hoses attached to it. It controls the vacum system that engage the automatic freehubs at each front tire. It is located below the air filter canister (passenger side). Is more easier to view once you remove the air intake hose. Part number is: MB620532 and cost is between $85 to $120 (OEM). Don't know if there is an aftermarket replacement for this part. Pretty sure that means that the 4WD is in the process of engaging. Blinks for a few seconds then stays on.

Mine sometimes blinks while in 2WD whether I'm using 4WD or not. Research on internet suggests it's fairly common problem and probably due to misaligned sensor. Since I've tested my 4WD/2WD (on ice) to see whether it was going in and out of 4WD correctly I placed window tint plastic over light so it would stop buggin' me...;)

Sometimes may take a few miles of driving for it to go out. Usually after some starts and stops. Sometimes shifting into and driving in reverse a little bit does it too.

read the dipstick, it may be printed on it. also, to be sure look at a manual from the library or buy one from the parts store... I also use the Lucas tran additive when servicing trannys dave And, manual says

1st...With key in the off position, push and hold the "DISP" button 2nd...While continuing to hold down the button, turn the inignition to the "ACC" position. Keep holding the "DISP" button until you hear a beep tone which will last for approximately 10 seconds. You should see the display "Start to check the system. Please turn the ignition to the ON position. 3rd...Turn ignition switch to the "ON" position to start the system connection check. 4th...Wait for approximately 8 seconds. The system will give a beep signal. When the connection is completed, the "completed the system connection" will be displayed. After this, you will need to reset the compass. It will give onscreen instructions.

it should be located on the passenger side right under the glove box there is a panel held on bye 2 screws remove it and in the far right corner you will see the top of the motor 3 screws hold it in to blower housing and one plug

Try popping a credit card in when you hit the eject button. It worked for me!

I was able to fix mine by vacuuming out the tracks and lubing the jack screws. No problems now (with the moonroof that is).

i have an ls 3.0 but mine is on the passenger side above the transaxle. Its covered by a heat shield cause its behind the exhaust. If you have a skid plate youll have to drop it to get to the starter

There's a plastic cable with teeth inside your antenna. A gear in the antenna base engages this "cable" and pushes/pulls the antenna. Sounds like either the gear or cable has some broken teeth. The question is too vague. Is the glass broken, does the window get stuck half way, does the window fall down, is the motion jerky, is it manual or electric?

This is because something is wrong with the vehicle. Take it in to a mechanic right away to get fixed.

the crank sensor is located behind the main accessory drive pulley which is installed at the end of the crankshaft you have to remove the pulley and the plastic cover that covers the timing belt

The best way to fix an expansion valve for the A/C system is to replace it. of course then you have to evacuate and recharge with freon.

Yes correct the intake will have to come off , but i am trying to find out why there may have been sludge on the spark plugs is it normal because they are located in the valve cover or not?

Yes the plugs go thru the valve covers. if there is oil or sludge as you say on the outside of the plugs,you will ned to change the valve cover gaskets felpro's gasket set comes with new orings for each hole to prevent oil leaking thru onto the plugs.

This tune up isnt for the weekend oil change guy but you can do it if you take your time and have a good memory........theres alot of unbolting, wire harness unpluging and vacuum unplugging as well! ya might wanna take pics as ya go so everything goes back together correctly. Mark all the spark plug wires at the coil so ya know where they plug it at cause once its together ya cant tell who is who! The firing order is on the wrote on the intake.
