open the driver side door and you will see a little hatch , remove the hatch . its a little hatch located on the dash in the dorr jam. remove it and you will see 2 wires running into a metal heatsink. just unplug harness.

Sorry but e22 is a factor error code that really tells the smart car owner to go buy a new stereo. For less than $250.00 you can buy a stereo with a small amp built in to it and do it yourself in just a hour or two. BEEN THERE& DONE THAT.

yes, they will fit but you will most likely have to do some customization is that even a word..LOL... i have a 96 with 255/30/22s and they rubbed a little in the back but air shocks fixed that problem..the front is rubbing more..that i haven't figured out yet..might have to do some cutting!! good luck!!

The switch is on the steering column about 18 inches from the floor under the dash. There are 2 screws that hold it on.

The brake master cylinder has nothing to do with the way the car runs. It certainly wouldn't cause it to stall.....Maybe the brake booster?

When replacing a water pump, it is necessary to drain the cooling system. Any components--belts, fan, fan shroud, shaft spacers, or viscous drive clutch--should be removed to make the pump accessible. Some pumps are attached to the cylinder block as shown below. Insert a rag into the block opening and scrape off any remains of the old gasket. WARNING When working on the coolant system (for example, replacing the water pump or thermostat), a certain amount of coolant will spill on the floor. The antifreeze in the coolant causes it to be very slippery. Always immediately wipe up any coolant that spills to reduce or eliminate the chance of injury. When replacing a water pump, always follow the procedures recommended by the manufacturer. Most often a coating of good waterproof sealer should be applied to a new gasket before it is placed into position on the water pump. Coat the other side of the gasket with sealer, and position the pump against the engine block until it is properly seated. Install the mounting bolts and tighten them evenly in a staggered sequence to the torque specifications with a torque wrench. Careless tightening could cause the pump housing to crack. Check the pump to make sure it rotates freely. The water pumps on many late-model OHC engines are driven by the engine's timing belt. When replacing the water pump on these engines, always replace the timing belt. Make sure all pulleys and gears are aligned according to specifications when installing the belt.

Voltage regulator is more than likely defective. The Regulator is built into the alternator so you will have to replace the entire alternator. Just make sure it is really overcharging. You should read from 13.5 to around 15.5 volts with a digital DC voltmeter if the alternator is performing as it should. Must more than 15.5 volts and it is overcharging.

The throttle body is on the right side top of the engine if you are looking at the engine from the front of the car. You may have to remove the plastic engine cover to see it. The throttle body is the thing the air filter housing ducting hooks onto, usually with a clamp.. There should be a wired module that controls the throttle blade position as well as a couple of other sensors installed... Do yourself a favor and buy the cheap chilton manual that illustrates all procedures.. they are priceless! A Google search in images helps too.

I have a 01 and and my ABS light and trac off light were on for over a year, I jus got it fixed...My rear wheel bearing sensor was bad, that's what made those lights come on and stay on in my car, but Im not sure about the low tire press.

This is usually cause by low power steering fluid level. If you have a 3.8L engine, consider the following:

If you drive your car a considerable distance to a facility (more than 2 miles) and wait for your oil change, someone would have to risk severe burns to wrist and forearm to check the fluid level.

Otherwise, nobody's been checking it because they are either lazy or uneducated.

Open the glovebox, inside on the left is a little hatch that tilts down. Inside are the interior fuses. You can find blown fuses by pulling them one at a time and visually checking the little "S" shaped wire inside or using a tester available at part stores.
