I have replaced door handle on my 1993, you have to remove the interior door pannel. If it is broke off from door handle look at junk yards for a new handle, if you need the clips that hold it on check with a local gm dealer they sometimes have them or you can order them.

By removing the intake and exhaust manifolds, and then the head. This is a major repair, that is not for the DIY novice. Unless you know what your are doing and have the tools, and skill, take it to a pro. If you want to try it, then purchase a repair manual. You will need the torque specs, and other information to complete this repair.

The Freon capacity for a 1997 Pontiac Trans Sport with dual AC is 46 ounces of R134a refrigerant. The capacity for the same vehicle with single AC is 32 ounces.

On the 3800, its a simple optical gate, that reads the teeth in a toothed wheel. If you crack open most ball-mice, they work on the same concept.

You can access the fgo lamps through the wheel wells. Turn the sterring wheels all the way to one side and then the other to give some room to work. you have to remove the retaining srews and the can pull the on the rubber you will then see the connector and the 2 nuts holding the lamps in place. REMOVAL: 1) Remove the plastic belt routing diagram (there is a bolt underneath if I remember correctly).

2) Using a 3/8 breaker bar or a ratchet, insert into the belt tensioner and push toward the back of the engine enough to release tension on the belt with one hand, and with the other hand, remove the belt from the water pump pulley. Then remove the bar/ratchet from the tensioner.

3) Remove the 4 bolts holding the shiny pulley onto the water pump.

4) With a ratchet and possibly a short extension, carefully remove the 5 bolts that hold the water pump onto the block.

5) Pry the water pump away from the block and clean both surfaces so they are free of gasket material.

INSTALL: 1) Line up the gasket and *carefully* fit the new water pump onto the block. The holes are very easy to line up wrong because they are almost, but not quite, equally spaced from each other, so be VERY careful you have all 5 holes lined up right. (Note: Using a yellow crayon, make a mark on the old water pump and the engine block. Place the new water pump next to the old water pump and carry that mark to the new water pump. When assembling the new water pump, that crayon mark will help make sure you have the holes correctly aligned.)

2) Screw each bolt in a few tuns to make sure they all go in smoothly. If you get any resistance (it will feel like it's crossthreaded), you have the holes wrong, and you need to rotate the water pump so the holes are lined up right. I can't stress this enough.

3) Torque all the bolts down (I can't recall the exact in/lbs - sorry) in a star pattern.

4) Mount the pulley onto the water pump shaft, torque bolts down (an air ratchet helps greatly here as the shaft will try to spin when the bolts start getting tight).

5) Release the tension as explained in step 2 at the top, put the belt back on the water pump pulley & double check to make sure it's on all the other pulleys while you're at it.

6) Bolt the plastic bolt routing diagram back onto the head.

That's it! It's an hour or so job if you've never done it before.

Note, if you're not using a gasket, get some water pump gasket sealer and make a gasket around the entire diameter of the mounting surface of the water pump. Remember to make little circles around the bolt holes also.

The airbag circuitry is spoken of with, many mysteries and precautionary warnings, so many people don't want to tackle any of the issues that come up with the light comming on, and it is a wise decision to abide by the warnings. I do most all my own work on my vehicles, but this is one area that I don't work on. I'll respond with something that I have found works for me, but I must also heed and express the warnings that the system can become ineffective with out us realizing it until it doesn't work in an accident. The system is supposidly being checked out by the computer each time we start the vehicle, but it is not wise to trust that if you have made the light go out by fooling with its purpose. So, even if you do get the light to go out, you should get it properly checked over, anyway. The recomendation is that the airbag system should only be checked out by those qualified to do so. The light is to warn us that there is a problem with the airbag system, so if it comes on, get it thoroughly checked out. Finding out after an accident that it didn't work, is not a good time to find this out. There is also the warning that you can trigger a deployment of one of the airbags accidentally by handleing those connectors improperly. The airbag system is the only part of the vehicle that has yellow connectors, and I have found on my vehicle that the yellow connectors within the system seem to get disturbed very easily, and I discovered that if I simply grab the connector and push the two ends of the connector together while the ignition key is removed, the light doesn't stay on when you start your vehicle again. It only takes a few seconds to do this, but again since the light came on in the frst place, it means that it is time to have it checked out by a qualified person with the right equipment to do so. Some of these connectors are located under the two front seats and near the sterring column under the dash. It is reasonablre to say that if these connectors show a sign of trouble, and you don't know if the system is working properly or not just because you got the light to go out, then have it checked out.

The fuse relay box is a box usually in the top right corner under the hood on the drivers side which has a series of fuses that allow certain components in your car to work suck as your starter relay, dash board lights, radio, a/c etc. And if they blow out the component it is assigned to will not work until the fuse is replaced

The proper tire size for a 1998 Pontiac Transport is P205/70R15. This info is on a sticker placed on the driver's door jam.

I assume 1996 or older. Pull off framework on drivers side of vehicle. Pull trans, remove torque convertor. Remove seal and CAREFULLY tap in new one or have tranny shop do it. It sucks to do it twice! Those trans are easy to pull than the late '90's style. Dan the tranny man

the heater core is under the dash on the passenger side.you must look under there and remove the bolts on the plastic heater duck.you will see that with a drop light,the tricky part is loosening the hoses underneath the hood on the drivers side firewall.the heater core comes out from the inside of the vechicle.i just did mine in 2006,it took about 2 hours.good luck..

On the 1999 Transport the Fuel pump relay is # 14 in the fuse box located on the passenger side under the hood, in front of the window washer fluid tank. Of course this observation may not even be close for the 94 Transport.

this starter on a 1994 transport 3.8 liter is located , if you are standing at the right side of the car the starter will be on the right if the engine under the manifold close up to the transmission bellhousing..

Try removing the radio fuse under the hood for 30 seconds then replace it back,The computer will reprogram itself and the door should start working.

Parts, fluids, labor, and disposal fees recently cost us $1,600 for the same repair on our 1998 Transport. This was performed at a reputable, privately owned facility - not a dealership (presumably much higher). This was 4 months ago and the vehicle is running strong.

It is located behind the crankshaft pulley and requires the pulley to be removed to change it out.

Temp stays low or high. Heater doesn't work. Commonly they get stuck OPEN, so the Engine runs cold (then it should), thus the heater doesn't put out very hot air.

The A/C uses R-134A refrigerant.
