The IRS can reposses everything-- Even your clothes!!! Technically yes, but it very rarely happens. An IRS lien technically attaches to EVERYTHING you own (even your toothbrush), but that doesn't mean the IRS is going to come take your toothbrush.

Define "closed." Is the original police criminal investigation "closed" or is the actual court case itself closed? As long as there are outstanding and un-addressed matters or un-prosecuted defendants, a court case is never closed until all known defendants in the case have been prosecuted. .

If you did not sign any loan or payment paperwork, you can return it and they can't post anything on your credit. They have to have that signature. If they do post it on your credit, you can dispute it for free and have it removed.

AnswerIf it is not bolted to the vehicle or other wise perminantly attached it is considered yours. AnswerIf a spare tire is held inside the bed of a truck by a piece of rope, it is not installed. If there are any nuts, bolts or screws holding the speaker box in, it is considered installed. If it is just in there by the wires, then no, it's not. Besides, call your bank and ask to get the speaker box out. As long as it does not render the installed stereo useless, they shouldn't have a problem with it. No. Warrants must be approved by a judicial officer of some type (i.e.: Justice of The Peace - Magistrate - Judge - etc). This is not to say that law enforcement cannot immediately act when a criminal report or complaint is made to them, if there is sufficient probable cause to make an arrest.
Should you change your oil if you put transmission fluid in your engine oil?
While some people might panic and start screaming OH MY GOD!!! I would say run the engine for a few minutes and let the transmission fluid help clean and lubricate everything, then change the oil. Transmission fluid is obviously not a good replacement for engine oil, but some of the additives in it can help to clean out an engine without destroying components, or seals. So dont panic, dont put it in there often, but you should still change it before taking it on any trips. :)

You must remember that unless and until that car is paid off, IT'S NOT YOURS - YOU DON'T OWN IT! You have entered into a contract that allows you to use the car and he allows you to use it BUT, only as long as you make regular payments on it (sort of like "renting" it, but not quite the same). If you are behind in the payments - and you know that he is looking for the car in order to re-possess it - and you are intentionally hiding the car from him - then, yes, under THOSE circumstances he probably could convince law enforcement that you had appropriated (a nice word that means 'stolen') his property converted it to your own use. Suggestion: Contact the seller and come to some kind of agreement about the car - you COULD be the big loser in this one.
