Can anybody buy cars at the auction?

It depends on which auction you are going to, some you are allowed, others you have to have a sales license

Some car auctions need some special invitations, with out any invitations, you cannot participate. Some auctions are for charities, this is mostly open to every one, auctions for classics and regular cars need no invitation. In almost every car auction, everybody is welcome and anybody can buy cars-of course you have to have money to be able to win a car. I suggest to study all the cars before going into car auctions. Compare car values and pricing. Seek to the one that suits your taste and to the one that can fit for your budget. It is very easy to get a new vehicle at auctions, they typically have simple menus (globalcarexchange.com)

Can a car dealership lend out their cars to clients?

It is up to the car dealership. They usually have some kind of contract, to lend you a car. Besides, one of the most popular ways to close a car deal, is to send the vehicle home with the customer for the night. It is called "the puppy dog" close. Once you have it, it is harder to take back. They also set up a false sense of ownership, that way.

What are the type of fines for a fake ID?

It depends on how that 'fake' ID was used. Carrying a fake ID card is not crime in itself-you can make your own comedy ID card as long as you are not attempting to use that ID for purposes to commit a crime. However, carrying a fake State/Federal ID can be construed as a crime in itself. Again depending on circumstances it can be construed as a felony and result in a prison sentence ranging to 25 years. It is hard to give an exact answer to your question. Because it requires you are caught with a fake ID, this means you were caught doing something else. If I assume you were attempting to procure liqour from a store using a fake State Driving License you could face multiple charges relating from that event, chances are it would be filed under a misdemeanor and would be settled with a no contest and a fine around $1,000. But if the ID was given to Law Enforcement to prove ID or age, the charges would esculate.

Why will a car start only on the 2nd attempt if its been off more than 30 minutes?

Not knowing the year or if carb or injected ill answer both ways Carb, it is because when a car shuts off the few revolutions it makes before a full stop draws some fuel into cyl so restart takes no more fuel, after a short period the gas evaperates so need to pump pedal to start. Injected ( MPI , TBI ) It means the fuel system is leaking down pressure, this can be the fuel pump itself or can be the pressure regulator that holds pressure on return side on shut down. The reason it starts on second crank and not first is that first crank gets pressure back up( pump only runs few a few seconds at start Even if cranked for 60 seconds pump wont restat till engine starts ) then second crank accually gets fuel in cyl. You can get it primed by turning key on for 5 seconds ( NOT to start mode just so lights and such come on) turn off for 5 seconds then Start it. This will be like the second cranking when starts.

Is a two door Chevy Cobalt a sports car?

Yes. It is a sports car...if you're a 16 year old girl. If you're not a 16 year old girl, it's an econo-box that gets good gas mileage that looks sporty. I'm sure it's sportier than a Ford Focus or Toyota Yaris though. You need to look at the Scion TC or the Acura RSX. You can get a 2-3 year old RSX for the price of a new Cobalt. If, however you want to know what a real sports car is, look at a Mustang. That's probably the cheapest REAL sports car on the market.

I disagree. A turbo charged SS will likely give a similarly priced mustang a run for its money. No a cobalt isn't a mustle car, as you'll always have just a 4 cyl, but depending on your tastes it can be a sporty car. It can also have some goos speed with little work (or an SS upgrade).

Did Remington make a 1100 pump?

NO! The model 1100 was a auto loading shotgun (and still is) Preceded by the 1148. The only pump I can think of is the 870 which has soo many variations and has been produced for many, many years. I don't have my book here to look it up, but I'm pretty sure that if there ever was a 1100 pump, I would have heard of it.

You might have a misprint 1100 model on a 870. THAT WOULD ADD VALUE TO COLLECTORS.

What is a possession?

A possessive noun is a noun indicating ownership, possession, origin or purpose. For example "the story of the witness" can be turned into "the witness's story".

The possessive is shown by adding an apostrophe s ('s) to the end of a noun or just an apostorphe (') after plural nouns already ending in -s.

Examples:

  • the car of my mother = my mother's car
  • the teacher of our class = our class's teacher
  • the coats of the children = the children's coats
  • the covers of the books = the books' covers
  • the meeting of the bosses = the bosses' meeting
  • The ladies' room does not belong to ladies, it means that it is designated for the use of ladies.
  • A store that sells men's suits doesn't sell suits that belong to some men, it sells suits for men.
  • A book of Shakespeare's plays are not plays that belong to Mr. Shakespeare, they are plays written by him.

There are two types of possessive pronouns:

Possessive pronouns are words that take the place of a noun that belongs to someone or something.

The seven possessive pronouns are: mine, yours, hers, his, its, ours, theirs.

Possessive adjectives are words that describe a noun as belonging to someone or something. Possessive adjectives are placed just before the noun they describe.

The seven possessive adjectives are: my, your, his, her, its, our, their.

Examples:

The Browns live on this street. That house is theirs. (possessive pronoun)

The Browns live on this street. That is their house. (possessive adjective)

In CT do you have to lock the garage door or is the car off limits to the repo man simply by being in the garage?

Cant go in a locked door in ANY state legally. They will just get the police to come open the door with a court order. Make your payments and if you can't, talk to the lender. They do not want to repo the car.

AnswerThey will not come with a police order....if they could they wouldn't waste timepaying repo guys.Just because it is against the law don't think the repo guyswon't do it.If they do break in and get the car it doesn't matter how they got itit is now the banks. You can sue the bank for the break in but you still don'thave the car back. And by the way the banks do want to repo that's why they do it. AnswerActually they DO NOT want to repo your car. This is because normally you owe more on the car than they could get for it at auction. They will repo it if they feel that that they cannot recover money for it, or if they are a buy here/pay here place. Finally, they CANNOT enter a garage locked or otherwise. If they do, they are in violation. You should try to work with the company.

How do you start a trucking business in Georgia?

First contact the state of incorporation because there's a legal process to starting a business regardless of what it is. Then you have to consult with the DMV to get the necessary license for your business since you will be operating as a fleet and you will need a CDL license if you're driving. Plus anyone you hire to work for you should have a clean driving record that's free of accidents and DUI/DWIs and do some research on different insurance companies and get estimates for fleet insurance. First and foremost you need to decide is your trucking company going to be local or cross country, but company is based out of Georgia. Sit down and start planning how you are going to do this. If you have questions regarding the licensing of trucks call the Department of Transportation and the DMV to get your questions answered of what you need in terms of paperwork to file for licensing a fleet. Then you also have to look at the cost of purchasing a fleet of trucks usually Ford can get you an estimate of what it will cost to purchase a fleet and you want to also ask how often do fleets have to change and get new vehicles because if you're running a trucking company your trucks will run more mileage than the average car depending on the kind of trucking your company will be doing. It all really depends on how you want it because it could be a semi or a regular truck. Just do your homework and let everything else fall into place. You may also need to contact the FMCSA to determine if you need to obtain an MC number, DOT number and BOC-3 Processing Agent. There is a web site that I know of where you can have them complete these activities for you for a fee. You will also need minimum insurance limits based on federal requirements. The link to the FMCSA is http://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/. Good luck. Your state insurance department is your best resource for insurance-related questions and concerns. How do you save part of a mp3 file?

How do you get a lien removed if you withheld final payment to your builder because during every rainstorm your living room ceiling and light fixtures leaked and the builder put a lien on your house?

Bad thing is, you just can't get the lien removed. Good thing is, there is some sort of construction defect. Now, most General Liability policies to do cover construction defect, but, you should get his insurance information (which you might have to file a lawsuit) and file a claim on his insurance. Hopefully, he has something in place to cover the construction defect, or he is forced to repair it. I would be questioning the fact of who inspected the home. That is another avenue. If they inspected the home and passed it and it is leading like that, then there is the option of professional liability claim on the inspector.

Can a co-buyer voluntarily surrender there rights to a car if the buyer is deceased?

Check the small print on your contract first.
