What is the thesis in the lemon tree by sandy tolan?
The Lemon Tree by Sandy Tolan challenges the common misconception that Palestine was "a land without people" suitable for "a people without land". The Palestinian people were the indigenous people with a rich culture and traditions of their own. In the fourth chapter "Expulsion", Tolan writes of the United Nations majority vote that partitioned Palestine into two separate states, a decision that led to war. He also writes of the UN minority report which "recommended a single state for Arabs and Jews, with a constitution respecting 'human rights and fundamental freedoms without distinction as to race, sex, language or religions". One can only speculate on this "road not taken" and whether or not it would have led to a peaceful country with justice for all.
What is quantitative research?
Qualitative research has many many forms but as a general rule, it does not focus on numbers but rather ideas and opinions. Common methods include one-to-one interviews, focus groups, online communities, and dyads. As a method, the sample sizes of one-to-one interviews and focus groups are often fairly small, between 5 and 50 people though they can be larger. Online communities can have sample sizes in the thousands depending on how the research is designed. The purpose of most qual research is hypothesis generation and idea generation. Qualitative research is used by many different types of researchers including sociologists, psychologists, marketing researchers, business researchers, and more.

What are the Causes and effect of malnourished children?
This is a broad question and most likely won't be answered completely by this response but here is a start. The causes of malnourished children can be the result of politics that don't allow the right foods or proper care to get to the children; diseases and disorders such as diarrhea that interfere with eating or absorption of nutrients; famine, floodsand other natural disorders that destroy crops or won't allow crops to grow; the death or abscence of parents; the abscence of medical supplies, equipment and expertise; and other causes. Fortunately, much of this can be prevented but unfortunately, it is not. The effects of malnourished children are -- they do not grow normally -- meaning they may not reach their full height. For example, in some countries where unleaven bread is consumed, zinc absorption may be inhibited. If the body does not get enough zinc, the child may not reach full stature. The effects may also mean that children have poor health -- this may be due to lack of food and clean water. And the last effect listed is death. This is an unfortunate loss to cultures, countries and humankind. This subject encompasses so much more that what is written above but it is a start. Hopefully others will contribute to the response.

Many things are very similar to the Christian church such as the trinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They belive in the sacriment of Communion. They belive that Joesph Smith was a prophet also there are prophets living today like Gordon B.Hinckley. They belive that the bible is the word of God and they belive in a central docterine called the Plan of Salvation. From Healthymom - The beliefs of the church were written in a letter by Joseph Smith now called, "the Articles of Faith". There are 13 and are as follows: 1. We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in his son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost. (as three separate individuals) 2. We believe that men (all) will be punished for their own sins and not for Adam's transgression. 3. We believe that through the Atonement of Christ all mankind may be saved by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel. 4. We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the gospel are; first, faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ; second, repentance; third, baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; and fourth, the laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost. 5. We believe that a man must be called of God by prophesy and by the laying on of hands by those who are in authority to preach the Gospel and administer in the ordinances thereof. 6. We believe in the same organization that existed in the primitive church, namely, apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists and so forth. 7. We believe in the gift of tongues, prophesy, revelation, visions, healing, interpretation of tongues, etc. 8. We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly. We also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God. 9. We believe all that God has revealed, all that he does now reveal and we believe that he will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the kingdom of God. 10. We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the ten tribes. That Zion will be built upon the American continent, that Christ will reign personally upon the earth and that the earth will be renewed and receive it's paradisiachal glory. 11. We claim the privelege of worshipping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience and allow all men the same privelege. Let them worship how, where or what they may. 12. We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers and magistrates; in obeying, honoring and sustaining the law. 13. We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous and in doing good to all man; indeed we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul: We believe all things (truth), we hope all things(right), we have endured many things and we hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely or of good report or praiseworthy we seek after these things.

Why is it important to build strong relationships with your family and friends?
Positive relations are important as it allows both individuals to grow together and individually so that not just one person is the sole person keeping the relationship together, or working. A positive and healthy relationship should last for quiet awhile if not forever, but if it doesn't the individuals should be able to part and live healthy lives without any ghosts or haunting memories.
Positive relationships are also important to keep both partners mentally healthy

Historical research is different from other researches as it stand alone being the initial and basic knowledge of any topic to be researched. Its also different because it deals majorly with the past of an occurance or happenning of an experiment, incident, progress or a forecast-(future prediction). its methodology of repoting and record keeping acquires more time and persistance from the researcher to gain authentic results through primary and secondary sources. I have tag and its the reconstruction of the past!!i dont like tag to much work
How do you write a high school research paper about a career?
Well, the first step is to decide what career you want to write about. Pick a career that interests you... maybe one that you would like to be someday. Picking a topic that is interesting to you always helps you stay motivated during the research and writing parts of the process. Next, do some research. For instance, if you chose the FBI, then you should go to the FBI website and read about careers that they offer. If you know someone in the FBI, you could ask them to tell you about the job. Find out basic things about any career... what level of schooling or specific degree would you need to get the job, what kinds of things are involved in doing the job, and day-to-day things like what kind of dress code they have, or whether there are special benefits to the job. For some jobs you would also want to find out risk factors... is there a high risk of death for that career? (Underwater welding, for instance, has a very high danger level.) Make sure you write down the website address along with any information you collect, so you can avoid plagiarism. If you got it from a book or a person, write down that information as well. After you have collected your information, then you want to start writing a draft. The best way to do this is to choose some important sub-topics that will help you stay organized. If you chose Undercover agent for the CIA, you could choose sub-topics like "Secrecy," "Risk," and "Training," and then go into each of those topics in detail. For some jobs in the FBI you probably wouldn't have to deal with risk, and with underwater welding, you might not have to deal with secrecy... so you would choose sub-topics more appropriate to those topics. As you put in information that you got from someone else, also add in-text citations to the information that you gathered. It depends on what style your teacher wants, but in High School most teachers use APA or MLA, so you will need parenthenses with the author's name and either the page number of the original source, or the year of publication. Refer to your teacher's guidance on that subject. Once you have lots of stuff for each sub-topic, you will want to go back and check your organization. You'll run spell check, and you'll see if there are any big holes to fill where you might need to do some follow-up research. Make sure you take the instructor's page requirement into account, and do more research if your paper is too short. Adding detail also helps. Go back and get some details from someone who has that job, and add them to your paper. Add in a section about whether you think this is the job for you at the end (if your teacher is okay with that). Drawing a conclusion from your research is great. Once you have enough content, and you've polished it as much as you can, make sure you read it to someone else. Make marks wherever you have to explain something or repeat yourself. Have them read it to see if they notice any mistakes as well... there are always improvements that you can make. Once you are satisfied with the level of quality that you have, then re-check your citations, write up your Works Cited or References page based on what information you included in your paper (don't include entries for informaiton you did not use). Again, you'll probably have to refer to your teacher's instructions for this part. Once you have the paper with appropriate citations and reference page, then you are ready to turn in your paper and hope for the best. ... remember that teachers are individuals, and that no matter how hard you worked, if you don't do it the teacher's way, it might not get a great grade... so if you have any specific questions on how to do something... ask the teacher.

Once subjects give their consent to be a part of a research project they cannot change their minds?
I can't see a contract like that being enforceable. The subject might have to forfeit any benefits (for example,if they were being paid for the research they might not get paid at all as opposed to getting paid for the portion of the project they completed), but it's difficult to imagine a court imposing any penalty on them much stricter than that (such as forcing a person to complete the project against their wishes).
It doesn't seem likely that a legal system where a person could be forced to complete a research project would have worried terribly about consent in the first place. (Think "Mengele" here.)
