Why would your vehicle pull to one side when braking even though it stops ok?
It might have a caliper sticking, or worn brake pads. This can also be caused by bad ball joints. If that doesn't help, you may need an alignment. Check to see if it pulls when driving also. It won't pull as hard as when you stop, but if it does the alignment is off. Low tire pressure on the suspect side can cause the car to pull under braking. Possible contamination.
What effect does rear wheel steering have on a lorry?
Large comercial trucks In North America, Lorry in Europe, generally have two (or more ) rear axles. This causes the tires to resist tight turn, causes tire wear and makes the truck make much wider longer turns.
If the rear axle steers it reduces the turn size, reduces tire wear and in general makes the truck easier to drive in tight spaces.

Why is a control arm necessary in a clinical trial?
It's not control arm, just control, meaning a control set or group.
The control group are individuals that are not given the treatment. If this control group are conscious and can apprehend, every effort is made to make them think they are getting the treatment though they aren't.
The reason for the control group is to be able to compare the individuals who have had the treatment (called the experimental group) with others that are in all ways the same except for the treatment and thus see/measure what difference the treatment makes.

How do you replace the rear mono leaf spring on a 93 Pontiac gran prix?
K i will try my best to explain actually i just got done taking off 2 at the junkyard.but how you actually do it differs from the way the chilton or haynes tell you to plus it says you need a auxiliary spring compressor a $350 tool the way i did it i didnt need it.i simply took off the the whole knuckle off with the rear strut attached plus it made it a lot easier to replace the strut with it on the knuckle and the whole thing off the car.i found that it was easier to leave the leafspring bolted in instead of un bolting it and doing it the way the book says.i took off the hose from the caliper first.then i loosened the 2 bolts from each side of the knuckle but didnt take them off.then i unbolted the trailing arm.and then unbolted the top of the strut.then i took off the 2 bolts pulled back a little and the spring slipped right out of the knuckle and i pulled the whole thing off.do this to both sides of the car.then you unbolt the leafspring from the car and then your done with that part.to put it back on bolt the leafspring to the car.have a jack under the knuckle slide the leafspring into the knuckle make sure to put the bushings back in they look like an s then just jack it into place put the bolts back into the knuckle.connect the strut to the car then connect the caliper and there you go
This varies massively according to the make model and year of the Car.
In general terms I put it on the alignment rack and follow the computer alignment machine.
What would cause a creaking noise while steering?
A few things to look at: bad struts, dry ball joints (can you grease 'em?) Check tie rod ends (grease?). How are the rubber bushings? Also, check power steering lines and pump (plenty of fluid?). Also, get a friend to bounce the car up and down while you or somebody moves the wheel around. Might take three people to do this. One bouncer, one steerer and one looker. Sounds like a party to me.
It is not fair at all. A proper enquiry should be ordered and all losses occurring due to her absenteeism should be calculated and realised from her before you are, oops, she is kicked out.
