JS I'm not sure about, but I've read that the difference between the JX and JLX is that the JLX is the deluxe package, with four disc brakes and all the bells and whistles.

I was told TODAY that the emergency flasher is the same as the turn signal flasher.

You can only put enough fluid in the transmission until the fluid is up too the full line on the dip stick, DO NOT OVER FILL IT!!!!

Go to your local Napa Parts Store. They have an online account with a national database. They can print a copy off for you.

On the exhaust pipe between the exhaust manifold and the catilitic converter. Looks kind of like a spark plug screwed into the pipe.

If it is the same plug every time, I would say the plug or wire is grounding out some where. Try replacing the plug the the wire.

clear as bell. where. cept 1996 1.8L its backwards, and a royal pain to deal with.

Turn the headlight switch to off and pull the e-brake up until it clicks once. This should turn off the head lights and still leave the car drivable.

chances are in the glove box on the top right side. my 93 was wierd like that.

Not hardly, although hinges and latches look similar they are completely different. As an example, the Samurai hinges are on the outside of the door and on Sidekick they are concealed in between the door and front fender.

on the hood is a vacuum diagram. required by law.

open hood. look up .under hood ,not down.

Take the ashtray out and remoive the 4 screws you see there. Then, take the stereo out and remove the other two screws that hold the faceplate on. Remove the knobss off the heating/cooling controls. Slide the face plate off and guide the heater controls through the opening.

You now have a clear view and easy access tothe back of the cigarette lighter assembly. Unplug the electrical connector and unscrew the locknut from behind the cigarette lighter receptacle. The whole assembly should come out along with the small rectagular metal plate that goes around the receptacle.

If you have very small hands and you have three of them, you can also remove the lighter by going up behind the console by hump on the driver's side.

I have a 1993 sidekick and the fuel pump is located in the tank. It is necessary to drop the fuel tank to replace since there are no hatches to remove to get to the top of the tank. This is probably the common repair procedure for most fuel injected vehicles.

If your car is shaking while it is idling, it is most likely your automatic choke. The automatic choke is not operating correctly but if you remove the choke and put a lubricant on it, it should stop shaking.

what engine. there are 2 and both are different.

but the answer is , adjust the idle bleed screw on the throttle body in both cases.

but high idle , means something else is wrong.

re post , what motor you have. 8v or 16v

With my Forenza , Sometimes when backing the check engine light will come on and stay on ,and the car runs rough as it is low on power . After Turing it on and off a few times , the check engine light will turn off and the car will run normal . What's the cause of this .
