Are the battery wires corroded? If they are, they may not be getting a good connection.

I have the same question, I have a 2002 Sequoia, I can't locate my starter.

Manual says 0.8mm or 0.031in

The auxiliary fuse on a 2003 Toyota Sequoia is located in the engine compartment near the driver's side. It controls flow from the main fuse panel to the rest of the vehicle.

Had same trouble with my 04 Sequoia.. Flushed and change transmission fluid and had no more trouble..

I had this happen to me. The mechanic had to go in the trunk and open the door manually. I can't give exact details, but you should see a manual release for the fuel door. They had to replace the part on the fuel door that is controlled by the fuel door switch on the floor left of the driver's seat. You should be able to find this, if you will look inside the trunk. I now have 392000 plus kms and have not had one problem or had to replace any power train parts so far. Normal wear and tear items, yes of course. This vehicle has never left me stranded and I still drive it today. I hope to get twice the mileage that I have now. I have owned my 1991 previa since new. If it has shims now and you buy an OEM replacement starter, then use the shims. If it does not have shims then you will not need them. Replace the starter with an exactly duplicate, installed exactly as the original. If in doubt measure the distance from the mounting plate face to the end of the drive gear shaft and make sure that distance in the same on the replacement starter.

This refers to the second oxygen sensor on Bank 1. Bank 1 is the same side of the engine that cylinder 1 is on, the very front cylinder on the drivers side. It could need to be replaced, or there could be a short to voltage on the O2 signal circuit, or it could also be that the connector has been corroded, and needs to just be cleaned. I believe this code is the same for all vehicles, not just Toyotas.

There are four O2 sensors on the Toyota Sequoia.

There are two exhaust systems on the Toyota Sequoia: one is located under the drivers side and the other is located under the passengers side. Each exhaust system has a catalytic converter on it.

There are two O2 sensors on each exhaust system: one O2 sensor is installed in front (engine side) of the catalytic converter and one behind the converter.

The O2 sensors are referenced by 1) Bank - which side it's mounted on and 2) whether it's the front or back sensor.

Bank 1 references the drivers side exhaust system.

Bank 2 references the passenger side exhaust system.

Sensor 1 is in front of the catalytic converter (nearest the engine).

Sensor 2 is behind the catalytic converters.

Each sensor is referred to by their position on the vehicle i.e.: bank 1 sensor 1 describes drivers' side, engine side of the catalytic converter.

You have to access these sensors from under the car.

The O2 sensors are screwed into threaded plates welded onto the exhaust piping. They are all electronically connected within a few inches of the sensor with environmental plugs.

The rear sensors are fairly easy to remove and the front ones are more difficult. The bank 1 sensor 1 (driver's side, forward) is extremely difficult to access and sometimes requires the owner taking the vehicle to a Toyota service center for replacement. Note that an estimate at a Little Rock Arkansas dealer was ~$800 to replace that sensor in 2009 due to having to remove the header to access the sensor.

what do you mean remove??. If you want to do so, then I guess start by taking off the molding around the unit (this should be held in by clips) by using a PLASTIC flat head screwdriver (in order not to break the molding). Then continue on by removing the screws that hold your stereo (is it oem?), remove stereo .

Scientists and engineers have puzzled over this phenomenon for many years, but only recently did a group of scientists (Stephen W. Morris of the University of Toronto and Nicolas Taberlet and Jim N. McElwaine of the University of Cambridge) actually perform controlled studies on how washboarding forms. The result of their studies showed that even with the most regular of dirt/sand surfaces, there are irregularities in the road that cause the wheel to bump. As the wheel rises, it pushes some of the road grains ahead of itself, creating a small ridge. After the bump, the wheel strikes the road surface just a little harder than normal, causing the dirt/gravel to shift forward, creating a little dip and pushing some of the grit into new ridges, which the wheel then has to rise over--which causes the next bump, etc. etc. It doesn't take many passes by vehicles to get a long row of ridges, and your washboard is born. It isn't just hills, but curves, straight sections or any part of any kind of dirt road. There's nothing that can be done about this, except call the graders and smooth the road out again. And keep your shocks in good repair!

the rear door lock is controlled by either the key fob or the key, and the wiper should be labeled on the wiper control. usually the very end of the wiper control is for the rear.

it is possible that the rear door on a 2002 Sequoia won't open properly because the latch got rusted shut. Try some Liquid Wrench or WD-40 in the lock mechanism and around the seal and entire door.

it is on the right side of the throttle body

if the cable is siezed up, you would be wasting time trying to free it up and lube wont help. just cut off the old cable and replace with a new one from dealer. it would be a good idea to replace the entire emergency brake cable system (main cable, and rear left & right)while youre down there. both back cables seem to go at about the same time.
