open the hood, look at the gray plastic piece of the lens inside under the hood. there's a clip there, stick a small screwdriver between the middle of the plastic clip, and pry it off. now stick a bigger screwdriver in from the headlight assembly, to the lens assembly, and pry it out. good luck

Under the front seats at the end of the slide track will be a single bolt that goes side to side preventing the seat from sliding back to far. take the cover off this, remove the bolt. remove the plastic trim pieces along the trans hump. then mearly slam the seat backtowards the back seat wich will cause the seat to come free of the tracks. lift out. reverse to install.

I suggest you call a locksmith.

I just got a set of 97 t100 buckets from the auto dismantler I had a split bench and the bolts match up except for the drivers side Rt. front and the passenger side Lt rear bolts. Re-drill and use bolt and nut w/ a lock washer. Works great.

I just changed mine on my 91 Yota pickup. It is also the 22re. If you look just behind the oil filter, it is about 2 inches away. I had to take my oil filter out, but I needed to change the oil anyways :) It has a connector that you pinch and it pulls off. I then used an aligator socket because I don't have metric sockets large enough for this. Pulled the old one, put in a new one ($77 on ebay) and put it all back together. No more code 52 and the jerking I was experiencing is now gone!

You don't need to remove front door panels, the speaker grills come out.

On 2.WD pick-up models, the disc is bolted to the backside of the hub.

On a 1993 remove corner marking lights remove screws hidden behind them, if you are good with needle nose pliers remove uholstry clips from top of bumper and bottom of grille, if needle nose piers are a problem go to the dealer or a good parts house and buy a bag of clips, remove grille, the entire headlight assembly is held in with four 10 mm bolts, it may be nessary to remove air box, and battery, to reach bolts. That should be all the tricky things everything else is fairly straight foward.

2.4 Liter firing order is 1-3-4-2 Distributor rotates clockwise.

3.0 V6 firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6 Number 1-3-5 is on passenger side of engine from front to rear. On driver's side it is 2-4-6 front to rear.

The filter is located on the frame of the truck under the driver's door. A 10mm wrench or socket is needed to loosen the clamp and a 15 mm and 19 mm open end wrench is needed to disconnect the tubing from the filter. New filter is about $15.00

ive been working on toyotas for 10 years and i wouldn't even bother telling you how. its not a maintenance item. just drain the fluid and refill it every 20,000 miles or so to keep the filter fresh.

== == Check under the hood at night or in a dark garage for spark arc. Mine would arc or ark from the spark plug wire to the coil on the passenger side of the motor. It could be a bad coil pack (black thing above 3 of your spark plugs) I had one go bad and it caused a miss in the engine.

The black fuse cover comes off but the fuse is one piece and pulls out. Its just tight.

Oxygen sensors are located on the exhaust manifold between the engine and the catalytic converter. If you have a V6 model then it will be after the place where the 2 sides come together. If your not sure what it looks like go to a web site for a local parts store and put in the information for your vehicle. They usually have a picture of the part.

There are two types of speed sensors and you can't tell until you look. One is electrical/magnetic (VSS) and one is a cable that goes directly into the instrument cluster. To remove the cable you will need to unhook the e-brake assembly and seperate the speedometer cable from the e-brake at the firewall by the gas pedal. On end goes to rear of the instrument cluster and the other end attaches to a small gear at the rear of the transmission. The instrument cluster will need to be removed.

I have managed to get every part if the front door panel off but have failed to get the door lock and handle off without braking the locking and pull handle . Can anyone help with this?

Unscrew the door latch screw; carefully disconnect it from the mechanism - or can lossen it and remove door panel around it - I was able to do the latter to make it easier.

You can get a speedometer cable for your 1990 Toyota pickup truck at most auto-parts stores. Many Toyota dealerships have auto part departments open to the public.

probably your pcv valve or front O2 sensor (if your lucky). Could be the Mass Airflow Sensor. It basically means the fuel is not properly running through the motor. May also notice RPM issues with that problem.

On a 2WD, remove the wheel, use a large drift and a hammer to knock the stud back out. Put never-seize on the splines of the new stud and put it in from the back, put a thick hardened washer over it and thread a lugnut on BACWARDS (with the flat side in). Use an impact gun on the nut and it will pull the head of the stud snug against the back of the hub.

under the hood there is a black box that says diagnostics ,obd needs to be read by light blinking by jumping 2 conectors only 96 and above have a actual plug for scan tool
