What type of oil does a 2003 Mazda Protege5 take?

regular (83)...most mid size cars that arent of fancy origin (i.e BMW, Lexus Auti and so fourth) only require regular bc the higher fuel grades produce more heat which although last longer some cars cant handle the extra heat in the engine...unless specified other wise by your car dealer than use regular

Not sure if you are asking about fuel oil or motor oil. As for fuel oil (gasoline) regular is fine, as for motor oil 5w-30 is recommended for most later model vehicles with a few exceptions that recommend 5w-20. Your owners manual or a Haynes repair manual will tell you exactly what type is recommended for your specific vehicle as well as tell you the fluid capacity.

I have water leaking into the floorboard of my 2001 impala from the condensation from the air conditioner how do I fix this Could this cause the blower switch to have only three positions instead of 5?

Clear the condensate drain that is under the vehicle. It should be somewhere near the passanger side, near the firewall.

If the blower is not on at all on some speeds, but works on others, then the blower motor resistor is probably your culprit. If the air is still blowing, but feels reduced when the condensation is built up, then it is probably just being bogged down by water accumulating in the blower motor. Try clearing out the drain and checking the blower when all of the water has been removed; this should help you diagnose the blower problem better.

What are the positive and negative side effects for surgical removel of the tracheotomy?

positive, you regain your voice and swallow
negative, you may need to have it reinserted if it was placed for cronic disease like advanced COPD. Usually we cover the site for a week with a bulk dressing and if the patient tolerates it, then we consider closing the trache site. Usually it just heals closed without even a suture. Good luck Joymaker RN

Does a submarine pollute the water?

A lot less than the average surface ship of similar size, and certainly not in a manner as harmful.

Modern submarines, like most vessels that are nuclear powered, don't leave behind any fuel oil waste; the only thing that is dumped overboard is waste from the sanitary tanks (fish food - think twice about eating fish) and trash, which is compacted into cans, weighted, and then dumped via a trash tube (essentially the same as a torpedo tube, but smaller and vertical, emptying out the bottom), where is sinks to the bottom of the ocean. Each can must be specifically weighted to ensure it will sink.

Only biodegradable waste products are allowed to be dumped; any materials that don't meet the criteria or are of a harmful nature are brought back to port and disposed of properly. Of course in emergencies, it's a different story, as crew / ship safety takes precedence.

Is it legal to shoot a paintball gun into a river?

Only if you own the river and do not hit anyone else's property.

United States

No. It is not okay to discharge toxic, polluting substances into rivers. That would be in violation of state and federal wetlands protection laws. You can't own rivers in the United States. Anything you introduce into the water travels down and affects others along the river's course.

What could cause a VW Golf Mark2 to jerk?

If the car is cutting out on acceleration it could be a few things. One thing could be the fuel filter is clogged; the filter is located under the right rear wheel. Another reason could be an air leak somewhere in the intake system, there is a black rubber boot over the air box that if worn could be cracked so on acceleration could let air in causing the car to run bad. Check the whole intake area for vacuum leaks are other breaks in the system.

How could water get in to transmission of 1998 dodge ram 2500 quad?

Check your radiator for signs of transmission fluid ( you will know as soon as you open the radiator cap) oily, creamy, gunky buildup. The transmission cooler is built into the radiator core and it is common for this to leak allowing coolant into the transmission and transmission fluid into the cooling system.

How do you fix a water pressure problem?

Is your filter in? I'm asking for the simple reason that your running at 2-3lbs, if you were running at 25+ then I would say your having a restriction problem somewhere. (Filter, skimmers, maindrains and so on.) Is this a new or old pool? Did you have a pool company maintaining it? where are you from (weather)? maybe a suction line has a hole or crack. This would be a good one to look in to. Did you pressure test all lines?

Check your pump impeller to see if it is clogged with debris. This will cause it to lose operating pressure. Also if you have a bleed line on your filter open it slightly to see if air will blow out. If it does, you have air trapped in your lines and this indicates that you have an air leak somewhere.

The question should be do you have excess pressure or little or no pressure?

k

Actually, you may have a downstream restriction. Were you cleaning your pool? I did and the DE filter was damaged so it was bypassing actually filtering anything; salt water generator became clogged. I heard the pump sound change so I went to check, reading nearly zero on the filter but pump was working (would self-prime). Removed and cleaned the salt water generator ... pressure problem solved.
