What do you need to fill a HPA paintball tank at home provided you have a 4500psi air compressor?
All you need is a hose that connects to the tank and a valve to regulate it. However a 4500 psi compressor is much, much more expensive than either getting the tank filled by itself, or buying a scuba tank to refill from.
The air gap is .016 - .030
compressor to engine 36 ft lbs
compressor to bracket 16 ft lbs
no it does not cause any problem.belt just make the A C work otherwise it do not have any work what so ever
i have done it just try it
T not running the compressor for extended periods of time can give you AC leaks because the seals can 'dry out' when not spun for a long time. I turn my AC on once and a while during winter just to prevent this.
It depends on the type of problem you have with the compressor. If you aren't getting cold air from your A/C system and you are sure that all the other components such as the condenser, evaporator, radiator and refrigerant are good, the compressor is faulty and needs to be changed out, the pully can still be free turning yet the compresser not functioning. If the pully does not move, the compressor is seized and needs the be changed out completely unless you want to waste your time rebuilding it, and usually it will cost you more in parts IF you can even find them to buy. If the pully is free turning and the compressor not engaging, the clutch is bad and can be changed, but usually isn't worth the time and the cost savings are minimal if at all. If the compressor functions as it should but the pully is damaged and is tearing belts and things like that, yes the pully can be changed, very easily, be sure to get the same diameter pully as this pully size has direct relation to the clutch in the compressor. Basically, when you're talking about an A/C compressor, its always more economical and just plain easier to change out the entire unit than to monkey with the present one unless of course, you like headaches;) my pulley was frozen due to bad bearings causing the car to crank to slow to start. drove me nuts trying to figure out why it wouldst start and why it was not cranking fast enough to start. much easier to replace the pulley rather then the compressor and way cheaper. trust me on this i have a 1994 3.4 camaro that is the hardest car i ever had to work on i hate this car!!
Why does my car keep running after turning off the key. dieseling?
Your diesel vehicle might keep running after turning off the key because there is still enough fuel in the system to allow it to idle. In many diesel vehicles, the engine is stopped by choking the fuel.

What happens if you drive a 2001 Navigator's without the air suspension switch turned on?
I assume that the switch also turns off the air compressor for the suspension. The effects will not be very clear for the first 5-10min. of driving, but eventually the ride will become more and bumpier because the compressor is not re-pressurizing the system. The suspension will be bottomed out constantly, because there is no air holding the truck up, and the truck will look like a low rider. That's what happened when our 2004's air compressor failed. I could be wrong if it does not turn off the compressor, but if it does, this is what will happen.
What is the paintball tank adapter for air compressors?
HPA stants for 'High Pressure Air'. They are becoming the new standard in paintball propellants--replacing Co2. They are usually steel, or carbon fiber wrapped bottles that can hold air pressures from 3000psi to 4500psi. This air is the regulated down to 200-800psi so it can be used in your paintball gun. This is the differences between 'high and low pressure' HPA tanks..the regulated output from the tank.
Where is the air suspension compressor in an Oldsmobile aurora located?
under the rear passeger side floor outside
Usually it is slight mold and mildew in the evaporator case that makes the smell, if you put the air on high and take lysol spray and spray under the glove box and dash that should kill it may take a few times though. Also make sure your evaperator drain hose is not obstructed. A buildup of condensate can lead to mold and a musty smell.
Is there a way to install a belt driven air compressor onto a 2006 Chevy diesel?
I don't know about the duramax engines but I know that all of the air compressors I've seen on the newer engines are gear driven. You should call Chevy and ask them what you need to change to get an accessorie driven air compressor on you Chevy. If they don't give you a straight answer then your parts guy doesn'r konw dick, ask around, call gm man.

Under the hood drivers side behind the battery. Remove cover from plastic box they are inside . Inside the cover tells location and what relay are you sure about this? I have a 1993 Caravan and the only thing I see in behind the battery is the computer module. The only relays I know of on this vehicle are behind the dash panel just below the instrument cluster on the left.

Can you fill a scuba tank from a dental compressor?
No, even though dental compressors have very clean air, it is still not water-free enough to go in a steel tank, though it shouldn't cause problems in an aluminum, but mainly, even the high pressure dental pumps only go up to 175 psi, and even the lowest pressure scuba tanks are 2400psi, going up to 3300 in North America and 5000 in Europe.

You will tell by hearing it run when key is turned on or seeing it vibrate under hood when key is first turned on as long as switch in trunk is on.
Your car going down can be a good sign too.
My advice is to just not even have a compressor to worry about anymore and go with a conversion kit from Strutmasters. They have kits for a lot of different vehicles. Including a Mark 8. Good luck!
That is all steel down there, check to make sure it is not rusted shut by moving the lever by hand, you can see it if you look under the dash on the passengers side.
The most likely problem is a broken cable, a new one is fairly cheap, but the easy fix is to buy the set from a classic mustang restoration outlet.
You can get the entire heater control bracket and replace it all at once for a little change.
CHECK THE CONNECTOR THAT ATTACHES TO THE COMPRESSOR.DOES IT HAVE VOLTAGE TO IT,IS IT MAKING A GOOD CONNECTION.PUT A JUMPER ACROSS THE PRESSURE SWITCH, ONLY FOR A MOMENT TO SEE IF THE CLUTCH PULLS IN.ALSO YOU COULD HAVE A WEAK OR BAD CLUTCH COIL. GOOD LUCK PAUL G Unless this car has been retrofitted to R134a it has R12 and not R134. another trick you can try is with mine i find it works fine for awhile and then nothing and after extensive searching i located a relay in the computer that was not closing, and after much swearing and considering changing the comp i had the opportunity to disconnect the battery to do some other work on my engine. after i had reconnected the battery and started up the car the AC miraculously worked so it looked like the computer needed to be reset was all...try removing the cables from your battery for about 15 minutes and then hook it all back up again...no guarantees but it seems to work for me every time
