17 mm wrench or socket

Remove slide pin bolts.

Then remove caliper.

Rotor should slide off the hub.

If you're going to rob a grave, you should bring a shovel, a crowbar, a hatchet, heavy gloves, a rope, and Vicks.

It's easiest to just unearth one half of the coffin---where the head is, if you're lucky. Before you break it open using the crowbar and hatchet, smear some Vicks under your nose to help mask the rotten smell and pull on the gloves. Break the coffin open and tie your rope around the neck or ankles of the deceased. Pull them out, take what you want, slide them back in---like a battery into a remote---and then rebury the coffin.

The steering will pull rapidly from side to side if brakes are pressed hard. Itr will damage steering and possibly other parts.

Depends, some are held on by a cotter pin and cap/bearing combo. Others slide over the hub and are held on by the caliper.

From your description I would assume that to be the power steering pump slipping on the drive belt. You could check the tension if you want, otherwise just don't turn the wheel so hard.

You need to replace the brake pad sensors (there's only 2 - one for the front and one for the rear) and the light will reset itself.

There are no major bolts for these calipers, you only need a 10MM socket to remove the slide pin and the caliper will remove easily. Job should be under 1 hour total for both sides. Make sure you read about the shims for the pads so they do not clatter when you drive. The new pads should come with a bunch of them in different thicknesses.

You have to remove the calibar which is removed by the two pins that is held on by the two pins on the calibar. Most times these bolts are 3/8 heads Allen wrench. Then the calibar should lift off.

Yes more than likely, warped rotors. Have rotors turned if thick enough as well as new brake pads installed. If the rotors do not meet a minimum thickness requirements, they will have to be replaced as well. A good shake down of the front end wouldn't hurt either. Sometimes bearing, tie rods, etc... can cause stuff to happen as well. But I would bank on the warped rotor idea, no doubt. Good Luck. Let me know if further questions.

yes, when you took the line off, you let air into it. so you will have to bleed them.

They are the adjusters on the rear drum brakes. There is usually a oval shaped hole on the rear of the backing plate where you can use a special adjuster screw or a large screwdriver to turn the adjustment star. You want to adjust them for a fair amount of drag without the wheel and tire mounted on it. 'After adjusting that way and after you remount the tires, , back the car up , in a straight line a few times to set them automatically and to the correct tension.

Need more info like the year, make, model and engine.

Sounds like it is time for new brake pads, you should take it in and and have them replaced before you damage your rotors.

Most likely you have a caliper that is not releasing. I am replacing both calipers and pads tomorrow on my 1997 B2300 SE. My right caliper would squeal until I touched the break pedal but start squealing again. I drove it this way for 6 mos. till the pads were gone.

Make sure the axel nut is off if there is one, loosen the bleeder valve, then use a "hammer" if necessary! :-))

First thing, drum brakes have a brake shoe, not a pad. There should be a slot on the back side that lines up with the star adjuster or automatic adjuster, same thing. The adjuster can be rolled back to let the shoes retract. The shoes have worn into the drum and left a ridge on the edge. That is why the drum will not come off. You can pry on opposite sides, back and forth to possible get past the ridge. It will do no good to loosen the bleeder screw, the adjustment is strictly mechanical. Sometime you can rotate the drum while pulling out on it. This will cause the drum to screw off of the shoes.

first take off the tire, Then take off the metal dust cap,The nut should be kinked,take out the kink,Take off the nut with a 1 1/4" socket,The drum should come right off after that.If you need new nuts (sometimes if they are old there won't be enough metal to kink them again) you have to get them from the dealer,they should only cost about 6 or 7 dollars.
