There should be a "Specifications Chart" underneath the hood. Mine is on the right side of the car, left side if you are opening the hood. Check right in front, in front of the radiator and the strut mounts.

Yes,any auto parts store has it. If you get it with oil be sure it is synthetic oil. Since you are adding you may want to get the one with leak stop in it in case you have a small leak

While it has been semi difficult to find any shop who could be honest and upfront on this issue. Let me just say that I learned how instead of depressing the brake fully, I could simply press ever so lightly on the brake and smoothly shift out of park and into reverse or drive. Understandng this is a safety device, designed to prevent accidental shifting, especially by small children.... I'm appalled how the repair shops play games with customers and pretend they dont know anything about such a device, its use or location in your car. Yet they all tend to be able to quickly quote the customer minimum shop hours required for them to \"look into it\".

1991-1993 DeVille reset clock in radio on models W/Cassette:

1. Ignition on.

2. Radio on.

3. Press and release "set" button.

4. Within 5 seconds push "scan" button until the clock is at the correct hour.

5. Press and release "set" button.

6. Within 5 seconds push "seek" button until the clock is at the correct minute.

There are two (2) bulbs. Gently remove the plastic lens, sometimes there is a slot for a very small flat tipped tool (screw driver) to remove lens. You will then see a white plastic clip, gently push to the side and pull down this will remove the bulb casing. Twist the bulbs out. If you purchase auto part bulbs, you must bend the two electrical wires to the sides of the bulbs or they will not work. Cadillac soldered the bulbs into the plastic holders, but it is to the side not the way the bulbs come. Otherwise you will need to purchase the bulbs from a GM dealer.

I am having the same prob just with the front side turn signals. Check your fuse and the bulbs are the most obvious. There is a fuse box in trunk and underhood.

You do not reset a master cylinder. You should bench bleed it before installing.

first off you want to remove all the bolts on the covers. Off the top of my head I would say they are 10mm. Then if it has that water pump pulley go get or use the one you have to pull that pulley, and remove the belt. Now take the covers off the rear one can be tricky esp. on the northstar. When you have the covers off take the old crush gasket off, and put some grease in the indented lip of the valve cover. yeah It sounds weird but Ive been doing these covers for a while, and this is the easiest way. The grease will not hurt anything, and all it really does is help the valve cover gasket stick in that crack when you flip it to put it on. (IMPORTANT) Only grease the top of the gasket that goes into the valve cover!!!!DON"T USE EXCESS. ounce you have greased, and installed the gasket into the valve cover flip the cover over and slide over valves, and over pulley shaft. set it down square. This will ensure that the gasket doesn't fall out, and it will seat properly. reinstall water pump pulley, and belt. Repeat same on rear one if front went OK don't worry their is no pulley on the rear cover. I hope this helped anyone that has needed a how to, and good luck. Kevin

hello i am the one who asked this question. some extra info. The "bolts" problem was fixed by the first mechanic. I am getting the a replacement battery today but the one now is brand new. Hopefully it is the problem. When the car battery dies i feel it in the pedal. The entire car shuts off lights, power and it just slows to a stop while driving. The alternator was checked by both mechanics and its all good.

Either the fuel filter is stopped up or the fuel pump has low preasure for some reason.
